C'mon c'mon! Haha
Greenlighter
I'm really keen on molly even though I've only rolled three times in my life. My first time was just this past September so I'm relatively new to it. I've more or less spaced each out over a two month break so far. (Thanks Bluelight for being a resource in that decision!) Bluelight was the first place I found on the internet where I could tell I could trust the sincerity and experiences of the community. Stumbling upon it was such a relief.
OK anyway:
My main interest is probably understanding the chemistry and science behind mdma (contemporary studies and research especially) as well as collaborating with others on a conception of responsible usage and expanding the parameters of usage beyond the cliche of the "rave-drug."
One note on that last bit - I personally really enjoy raving. Rolling at a Steve Angello show was the nearest thing I've ever had to a religious experience. It's incredible to completely let the animal spirits out of the cage and move us around for a little while, does me a lot of good, very tribal. But I wouldn't begrudge anyone their roll just because they wanna listen to some other genre of music, write in a journal, light candles with their SO, or walk through a park. I've done some of those things rolling already, as many of you have, and the roll is no less potent or insightful.
Do any of you out there agree that the pigeonholing of mdma as a "club" or "rave" drug in the popular consciousness plays right into the hands of alarmists and authority figures who really don't give a damn about the facts, the research, the science, or the potential?
