The bar is called "Flairs" it's on the main st at the north end of town. Mention Bluelight to the tall Aussie bartender and I'll get all the drinks for the night. But BEWARE.... the other three bartenders are English and we hate being mixed up :P

haha I found that out the hard way when I was 8. the only form of the english accent I knew was "australian" and a kid in my hotel spoke with an accent so I asked him if he was an Aussie and he got upset and said he was English. I was pretty confused at the time, but now I look back on it and think of what a bloke I was to ask him that

Well even though it wasnt my post i still gawk at the flatirons. I lived in chicago all my life till freshman year of HS, ive never seen anything like them till i moved, 5 years later the flatirons and mountains in general still amaze me, they make me smile.

Just thought this greenlighter should let himself be known. I'm currently in Boulder as well, and life is good.
 
Still kickin around these parts...

Greetings to one and all. It's good to see so many Boulderites popping up. We *should* get together, however, I have yet to see a "real" bl gathering around here. It gets mentioned, then people discuss and often agree on things, then, it falls apart. It's almost like getting drug users together...or maybe more like herding cats...or herding fucked up cats. I guess I just bitch because I see what *appears* to be tighter BL crews elsewhere, who seem to have fun together, and we here in the Front Range have such potential to be like that. Yet, we let it go. Baaahh.

I often wonder which of you i've seen out (that I havent met...duh)and not even had a clue. lol. Tradgedy and Comedy.
 
Hmmm.... just moved to Denver. Live on the southeast side. I am sure I will be making it to some events.

I don't know if too many people know me here but I post a lot in T&A. I need to find a place to relax first and then a job and apartment (living with friend.)

Of course I will probably be digging on some indie rock shows and I don't know of too many people on BL who are into that sort of thing. If you are let me know...
 
This is almost like rising from the dead. I have not posted on this site in months. I almost forgot it exist. I also represent Spun Junction. The Neoracle, I hadn't seen you around, I thought you might have left again. But then again with the curse it must be hard. I still haven't left.
 
hrmmm, the colorado scene is on its last leg i think, not many raves at all, but thiers a lot of clubs, not necessarily good clubs, but they're around
 
there's a club called the underground in the springs.. i guess they have all night events every weekend. it's sposed to be pretty cool, but i've never had a chance to head down there and check it out

Well, between the Church and the Snake Pit, Denver has a very very decent scene if your into something besides trance and your 18/21+ (aka, should actually be going out).

I'm still at the Church once or twice a month (if anyone wants to meet up).

Wow, it seems like everyone has gone dormant. Or on a looooong bender. ;)

What does it take to get some Party information posted? Who do I need to bribe? Has Nephil moved to Cali yet? Has Radar gone POOF again? Housekid! You're our only hope!

Seriously, I have flyers and all...but not all of them. I can't stand the thought of missing out on something BIG! I know of the Naked Frequencies party on 6/28, and Independence on 7/5, there's Parallel tonight, after that I got nada. I heard there's a FATRR party tommorrow....yes....yes there is, look at that...right there at FATRR.com.

I'm really curious about any type of gig coming up like the Sunfest last year that I misssed.:(

So, I havent been on BL myself too much lately, so I can't bitch too much. I hope you are all well, and still hope to meet more of you over the summer.

Morlock, there's going to be Caffeine this summer and supposedly Fun Factory as well..Also, Xion on August 2nd..I know the first 2 will be massives if they go through, and they'll both probably be outdoors..If you give me your email or something, I can keep you updated..Goes for anyone in CO who wants info on parties..BigCat and I still hit some good ones up :)

hey all y'all coloradians...lol

just moved to co on 6/12...i live in centennial...haven't heard of it wouldn't be surprised...lol...it's basically littleton/englewood...or i guess you could call it the DTC area...i'm looking to meet some new heads so drop me a line sometime;)
