8( I don't know why he would snuff out his life, I didn't know him personally. But being a political science major, I finally understood what he was trying to throw at us, like some malnourished kid trying to catch a giant medicine ball, fumbling and unable to grasp and comprehend the vicious and fucked up world we live in, trying to hump the American dream. Although his stories might have been exaggerated at times fueled with mind-altering drugs, he was concious enough to tell it like how it is, how our society have deteriorated and taking a 6 o'clock nose dive. How long can we take this ride, what lays ahead of this gloomy and foggy horizon? But by killing himself, he has focused the attention of the crazed and hungry media and the ripped and hungry stoners to realized that not only we have lost an influencial friend, but also what he stood for in a national character. Maybe he knew that ending his life might start a spark not just in your basement with the Bob Marley and Pink Floyd posters and a hukka on the side but also nationally, among others the people that only recently heard of him because of his death.
