i thought the rooms were cold... its been to long since i have felt like completely stripping down at a party, you all are just wuss's.... and even though every one hated the fog... i thought it gave a nice old feeling of no one can see me the lazer would have looked really dope through all that fog if we could have still had it...
 
Hey everyone this night was for sure an awesome night!!!
tp's set was by far the dopest set I've heard in awhile.......
Carlos you are one of the koolest guys it was so fun to
be able to hang with you........Andy Hughs your a class act
being on a plane for so long and up for so long THANX for
spinning my after hours..........hope you got some sleep on
the way home.......Kelly(Nautikat) you are a wonderful
person and me and Lucky would like to hang with you any-
time thanx for spinning my after hours---everyone needs to
check this gurl out fo-sho........loved your set.......and CD thanx!!!!
To Brad and Angie sorry:( things didn't work out the way
they should have but as we all know its an investment with
a big risk to throw a party in Indy and you guys have the guts
to try and I hope you still keep tryin cause you guys are
definitely a great team and put together a class A party.....

Now for everyone that is not on the same page as everyone
else we need to pull together if we EVER want a scene in Indy at
ALL---not try to throw parties on the same night (bourbon St.) thats
ridiculous---and when I went to flyer for my after party I got alot of
bad attitudes from alot of people..........this is bullshit I don't care if
your clique doesn't hang with this clique or what ever the stupid
bullshit excuse is we are INDY and we need to be an INDY scene
not (my clique can throw a better party or our own party screw
your party) Thats bullshit pull together and put on a show that
Indy really needs to pull it all together and make our scene work......
You people know who you are..................1 person can't rebuild our
scene but several groups of people with the right attitudes COULD!!!!
THATS MY 2-CENTS IF ANYONE CARES>>>>>>(which you all
should cause its destroying a scene that isn't even rebuilt yet!!!)

Well, for the little bit I can remember it was cool. Thanks to everyone for not stepping on me while I was sleeping curled up in the DNB room. I was so sick at this party, I probably should have stayed home!

Fun Fun Fun! It was great to see everyone again and as always it was awesome meeting new people. Sorry about not going to any after parties, but I just wanted to chill afterwards. Hope every had a good time!!

I would like to thank brad and angie for throwing this
party and letting chad,james,and me play. got great
response.
A big ups to gary and roommates for letting the
insane happen at their apt. I would also have to say its
good to see out of towners shareing their buzzes in indy
(that fun-gi from ohio).
 
I dont know bout all the drama with the after hours but the party was so much fun guys! Thanks for a great party for me to be coming home to! Jenn, you're my girl! And defi I hope you had fun with my scandal I pulled for you! lol. Anyways guys I miss everyone so much, and ya'll better be down in FL to visit! (i.e. miami in march for the conference hint hint) Well it was fun seeing everyone hope everyone made it home safe and actually got sleep, I will see you when I come back for x-mas!

Actually we need people not causing stupid drama over things they don't know about. To set it straight, again, Greg has been throwing those parties for 4 months now. S.C.P. cut their dick. As well as Seth and Mack's night, which you seem to support??? I have no problem with opinions but when you start discrediting other people specifically you need to make sure you know what you're talking about.
 
hello everybody...i had a good time for the short time that i was there! soulslinger kicked some booty in my opinion. i had never seen him nor really listened to him, so i felt like i was in for a treat. i thought it was cute how everyone was bobbing their heads and shakin their asses during his set. oh yeah, and the laser of the girl givin oral was great too! sorry i missed just three white guys but thats retail for ya. so now whos down for some zambezi's tomorrow? till then...peace.
 
Then why was this party posted just a day or two before it happened? And
like Brad said why hasn't he posted one of these parties YET......if he has been doing it for 4 months now?? I'm not bad mouthing anyone in particular here all I'm saying IN GENERAL is we need to not try to battle each other in throwing a party (the Nah Nah Nah Nah Boo Boo shit) I'm excited for the fact that we have several options, but not in the same city!!!! Our scene isn't that strong. Even in 2001 we couldn't pull it off!!!(the night of Shine) We aren't Ohio and the only reason it works in Ohio is cause they have parties in DIFFERENT cities on the same night........and the cities are far enough apart that they don't effect the other parties much.........oh well who cares anyway........I had a good time this night so shitz all good for me.........It just sucks to see some one throw a GREAT party and not break cause someone else says hey, "I can throw a party I have the power to do this oh well I won't support my scene I'll make
my own scene---cause I can!!!" Point is we need to work together PERIOD..........anyone can throw a party- but can you bring back the scene by yourself??? NO!!! Good luck and best wishes to anyone who thinks they

There are so many things I can say about shit that happened at this party and around this party and what not...but I'll keep my mouth shut...
It would have been a better party for me if I wouldn't have been running around making sure things weren't going smoothly...
Thanks so much to Freak and Cameron for helping me and Angie pick up the place afterwards...Pickin up every piece of trash and every single freakin cigerette butt is a bitch when you are doing it by yourself.
This party didn't go as well as some would have hoped as far as how many people walked in the door (and window..jeez) but in my opinion every little bit helps the scene and this party was just another notch on the belt for Indy...
Can't wait for Spinbaby Productions to throw another party..this wouldn't have gone off without her!

love ya to death, pharmy... but if you didn't know about
this party, maybe you're out of the loop... not everyone
is on scene:indiana and bluelight....

nor do everyone want to post party info on bluelight (where
the indianapolis po po regularly scours -- trust me on that one)


the main issue is that in order for Greg to do this party
in a relatively cheap manner, he had to do it when David
Hollands was planning a trip to Muncie to visit family.

anyone who's paid attention for the last 5 years knows
that David -- an expensive Dj even nowadays -- always
comes to indy around the same times: T-Day and Xmas.
It's b-c his family usually flies him in... and that off-sets
the price needed to bring him.

Also, you were at the event, weren't you? did you notice
really ANYone there that would have been to Brad's event?

The ones that i saw that would have gone over there actually
DID go there and then come back.... other than that the party
was totally dif't audiences and Greg did a good job at
not flyering other rave events.

if there wasn't an event at the Distillery that night, 95%
of those people would not have gone to Brad's anyway...
it's no longer their thang....

me----will tell you I am a drama free laid back person
I hardly ever speak my mind about shit..........ever.........
but people in Indy just can't work together cause they
ALL want the credit for being the ones who brought
back Indy!!! Whatever........I go on Ohio post and look
at what everyone post......there is NO drama like there
is on Indy post...............I just don't understand how a
scene next door to us and with so much going on on
any given day could actually be a roll model for us and
how we should do things.............oh well I'm off it and
over it.................

it's not a rule that you have to support every rave
that comes to town just b-c you like edm... there's
no rule book and no rave police ... some people simply
do not like the ASTHETICS of a rave... and they shouldn't
be expected to either a) stay home or b) go to the
rave just b-c some other folks have this mis-guided
notion that you have to go to a rave no matter
what...

Gretchen does her goth-industrial nights ... she's
in it for the same reason... i don't see you there...

where you at???

it's the same thing...

dif't crowd want dif't things.

if you want that club crowd then throw a
club event... if you want the rave crowd
then throw a rave event...

if you want a mixed crowd then throw an event
with a Dj that crosses both boundries. And sorry,
TP, Andy Hughes and Soul Slinger are not 3 crosover
Djs...

this is not about working together... it's not about one
person not communicating with another... if you wanted
to folllow old rave rules, then technically, this party
should have been the one to back down... Greg's event
was 4 months in the making... but it's a dif't crowd.

understand this:

the majority of people at Greg's event would not
have been to the rave

so harping over why some folks didn't come or why a club
event that was catering to the people that would
not have come to Brad's event even if there was
nothing else to do and expecting them to support
something that they may simply not believe in anymore
is alittle much.... no matter how you slice it.

all you can do as a promoter is keep pushin' on with your
vision... ppl will either flock to it or not... you can't expect
them to come... you can't get mad at them for not... and
you can't force them to, either... ppl like Gary and Brad
have definitive visions as to what they are wanting to
do... and they have the proven endurance to truly survive
an era that mimics 1995-1998 (that's 4 years, folks, so
don't expect 2000 this year or even next)... but you
cannot rely on ppl not in that scene to spend hard
earned cash on the scene... just like i haven't seen you
at the goth-industrial nights...


again, if you want to bring that crowd, then you'll have to
re-adjust your strategies when it comes to promotions,
advertisement, and performers.

it's not about drama... it is about giving the crowd
that you want in the party what THEY want in a party.

the people at Greg's event (mostly) simply didn't want Soul
Slinger, Terrence Parker (they have no idea what they missed)
or Andy Hughes....
