oh my godess....thats just what we fucking needed...on top of the already killer line up, you gotta go add verge. now we're done for...i really dont even buy/mix records these days. i dont even own or regularly practice on decks for fucks sake...oh well, i didnt enter myself into this competition, but i suppose il show up and display my rustyness...considering all the entries are great ppl that i dont see that often anymore, and itll be good to share a stage with em again. fek it...just dont be suprised when i jump on the other side of the booth to heckle myself

What mixer would you rather have the Rane or the 600? If you don't respond you cant bitch about what you get!!!!! I vote RANE.


Would just like to give respect to all the tenured DJs coming out for this. Definitely a honor and learning experience for us up and comers. I will be soaking it all in for sure. Good luck to all!!!!

Here is some more details to answer some Q's
1. It's free for everyone to get in until 11:00
2. All dj's have a 20 person guestlist which we need all dj's to contact myself or clay via email or phone for details. Guest list cuts off @ 12:00
3. The mixer, we would like to let you decide however if some sort of agreement can't be reached it will be the clubs pioneer 600 (industry standard )
4. All dj's must be @ the club before the doors open.

i DO like effects; however, that Rane is brand new w/ penny & giles fade action and really, haven't we all heard what the fx processor on that mixer does 1000 times? i am neutral, esp since cats like verge/haws/shinma are gonna tear the competition to shreds anyway...:\
