It isn't necessarily a no "redzone" rule even though i really don't like the redzone... It is more a general "no club" policy.. i just don't like the vibe or a lot of the greaze ball ho bag regulars that i have found frequent a lot of the club scene in c-bus and the redzone in particular... I don't disagree that they tend to have the money to bring a lot of good acts to the area but i would rather wait and see them in a party atmosphere.. I have never had problems w/ security anywhere (probably cuz of gender) it is more the managment's policy and having to pay $4 for barely a 1/2 bottle of H2O w/no cap.... I like to dance, and i can't consume alcohol and dance. Therefor i need water... and i am not leaving an open water unattended anywhere.. party or club... And it is a little hard to dance good (IMHO) when you have an open bottle of water in hand trying not to spill 8).....I don't mind if people are or aren't on drugs i go for the music and i find the music easier to enjoy when a majority of the people are there for the music and not to find an easy piece of tail to take home @ 2:30 when the club closes......:)

But enough of that this is gonna be a great couple nights of music and i hope to see a bunch of "Bass"headz out there supportin tha scene!!! =D ;)

just a few queries...are there going to be flyers for this or is it just a word of mouth thing, and if there are how can we djs attain a small stack? ^^^i guess either way is cool. also, who are the "judges" and where are they from? *my 2 cents* you should bring in some outta town judges to make it fair (to eliminate the "favorite" bias). also how are ya'll doin the pairings, random or "seed" style (preconcieved rankings) like college playoffs? i've never been involved in anything like this, just curious %)

ps...c-bus junglists unite...this is an exceptional way to usher in a new era of respect and opportunity in this city. lets keep it fun and sportsmanlike and show the clubs we can run a slammafied show properly...

i think the judges should be out of state people... no bais.. ie pick me... i hear the best and the worst dj's all the time so it will be pretty reg...

im out like a bonner in sweat pants (couldnt resist a follow up to component)

We are selecting the judges who we feel have the least amount of bias w/the most knowledge of the music. We don't feel it neccicary to tell the public who they are until the night of the event.
Also we are still looking to fill a couple more slots if anyone is interested in entering still.
The battle itself will not be pairings, it will be everyone for themselves against the judges.
