'88 that's when my crew and I were in junior high
In 7th grade, I hated school (wish it'd blow up)
No doubt I couldn't wait to get out (and be a grownup)
But let me finish this reminescin and tellin
Bout when girls was bellin tight courderoys like for the boys
basket weaves, Nike Court Airs, and footsie socks
And eatin pickles, with tootsie pops
And it don't stop, I'm glad cuz when J.J. Fad hit
Supersonic it was kinda like a sport to wear biker shorts
or, to wear jeans and it seemed like the masses
of hoochies, had poison airbrushes on they asses
Dudes, had on Nike suits, and the Pumas with
the fat laces, cuz it was either that or K-Swiss
I miss those days, and so I pout like a grown jerk
Wishin all I had to do now, was finish homework
It's true, you don't realize really what you got til it's gone

i have the impression that you're mistaking him for another person
he didn't step down
and he wrote long posts to try to be explained why he had been demoded and to ask to get his position back
he was not even explained why he was not a mod anymore, he just discovered it one morning
he was not overly-strict
i'm not aware of any bluelighters complaining about him (although i don't know about possible exchanges between blers and admins)
and certainly not revolting against him
that's ridiculous
and on the contrary, many bluelighters asked for explanations and said they wanted him back

and even though he only had guesses because no one told him either, what infinity deduced is that he was kicked out for saying loud (in the mods' forum maybe, i don't remember) what most blers were also thinking, that you were acting like a bitch and that michael was not especially cool either

I could have sworn that he was a mod in EADD, earlier, and that he stood down from that.
I certainly know who Infinity is, we talked a lot in the Ecstasy forums. He threatened to kill me one time, but I forgive him
But basically I doubt we will ever know, unless you can convince one of the admins of the time to tell you.
[edit]: yes - I found a post made by me myself in 2002 where I state that Infinity had stopped posting! My memory serves me right! Obviously he had come back after that, and become a mod in DC, and got fired. So we're both right, really - we were just talking about different things! [/edit]

Im sure they know a lot more than you do about what really happened to a mod because they are mods. Youre on the outside looking in and they are on inside cozy next to the tv watching the Simpsons. There was prolly way more discussion behind closed doors than you even know about.
