Hey everyone its Spun. Missed you guys. I droped off the face of the earth. Started drinking EtOH. Such a horrible drug. A barbaric drug in sharp contrast to opiates which are much more benign and possess qualities of refinement and neuropharmacological sophistication. Alfo, I went to a psychiatrist and got suboxone (bupenorphine). So did my wife. She was actively abusing- she still gets it, I tappered off like 6 months ago. My drinking reached epic proportions. Stoped 20 days ago- had tremors for 10 days. My liver enzymes were higher than many patients I was carring for with alcohol problems some of which were going into acute withdrawl/ pre Dts- 2 to 3 times in many case. Now the symptoms of acute liver disease are subsiding.

Its nice to know that the gear is finally improving. I was scared that throughout the UK especially London there would be major crackdowns- they usually do that to "improve" the hosting nation's image. I was thinking finally some good gear for the suffering dope fiends (this term is not pejorative but used as a term of endearment among our opiate subculture).

Its nice to see Charlie Clean is still on this thread- I've cherished our many discussions and your wisdom and insightfullness. Its also nice to see Blondin, Brimz and Ructions. Hows Pink? She still post.

I've never met Runct and her Children but I could say with reasonable confidence that she is a great mom.

Don't listen to Eire whatever his name is Runcts- he is probably A UDT/UDF mole sent to The Republic to undermine The Good Mothers of Eire. Lol. Or maybe he MI6.

You know why the Sun never set on the British Empire?- Because God didn't trust them in the dark. lol

I remember when we had that transatlantic feud last year. I was cringing with embarracement at my countrymen's comments. I remember one guy calling the people on this thread wankers. Ahhh...Reminds me of the Cheach and Chong movie were Cheach told Chong that Benteco (asshole in mex spanish) means my good friend. Cheach was stoned and ran over a mexican families lawn while they were having a fiesta- while Chong yeld "whats up bendecos" not understanding the meaning or implications of that word. In my defense I'm from California while most of my fellow yanks were, well, from East of California.

In all seriousness gear smoking doesn't creat bad parenting- parents do. Good clean gear makes it easier to be available and spend more time with your children. But I'd have to say that excessive drinking made me less available for my daughter and not a good parent, though legal- I can say that because I was there. Now we are getting ready to go to the beach. Its 76 F were we live. 73-74 degrees F at the Beach 5 miles away from my house. Damn i hate living so far from the beach.

As for the end of the drought. We've all speculated. UK policy in Afghanistan has always incorporated drug interdiction. The US policy wavered from drug interdictions to building alliances with the poppy farmers so they wouldn't become sympathetic to the Taliban. I live in North San Diego county next to the west coasts biggest USMC base- camp Pendelton. I live close enough to hear Arty during military exercises. I talked to one Marine who had just discharged and was going home to Iowa. I asked if we were going after poppies. He said he had gone on patrols in Cannabis and poppy fields and at other times assisted in their destruction. He could relate with the farmers- for them its just a crop. He said that if corn was outlawed and the US military went to his family farm in Iowa he and his brothers would be on the roof with riffles sniping. I here from people returning that that misguided war is one big clusterfuck- central authority is breaking down.

If there was one cool thing about this drunken relapse is I was getting Chronic for several months from dispensaries. It was Amsterdam like with menues and "budtenders".
Unfortunately Obama went back on his promise and closed alot of the dispensaries. However delivery services are legal. You get strains with user ratings, medical indications ect... my father-in-law who has a card has it delivered by hot girls to his door step.

One thing I'm grateful for. As a result of the sovereign debt crisis the Greeks for the first time since the end WWII hate the Germans more than the Americans. Lol

But whatever our background, nationality, ethnicity, we bluelighters are all united by a comradery, a shared experience, a mission to restore sanity to a free world gone insane. Were addicts are the new oppressed minorities- able to be summarily jailed for a victimless crime. We are victims of misguided laws and self serving misguided politicians who have brainwashed The People feeding the prison-industrial complex in a majority of the worlds nations.

Out here there has been a spike in Meth. People use it with dope. With all this talk about Obama care I see "drug seekers", "frequent flyers" who go to the ED, get admitted to the hospital and get dilaudid q 2hrs to feed there addiction at a cost of $5,000 a day for the room and additional thousands in MD consultations, supplies, meds, and other costs. This alone costs the tax payers and health care system billions. Solution- legalize heroin- medicalized or free market I don't care- this would save billions from drug seekers and from people with IV related complications ultimately allowing health care workers to concentrate on more critically ill patients and conserving health care costs.

Cheers all if you awake- its 1300 here- 2200 GMT. Hopefully your all noding on your improved quality gear!!!

Remarkable timing - I come on here, blink and find the latest babblings of our troubled child deleted (well done, anonymous mod - he should be at AA, not here) and replaced by the very welcome and long overdue return of jspun. From the ridiculous to the sublime! Glad you've come through your lost weekend ok and continue to investigate the great and wonderful enigma that is America. When Abu Graib hit the news, I'd had a couple of drinks and read all about it while waiting for a delayed train. Steaming by the time it arrived. I spotted a pair of officers from one of the nearby US bases in an empty carriage and joined them, determined to give them a piece of my host nation mind. I found, however, a courteous and thoughtful couple who appeared more upset about the abuse of detainees than I was and treated me to a well informed analysis of the role of the military in US geopolitics of which Chomsky would have approved. You never can tell, any more than you can about the reality of the Volunteer Army in the poppy fields - last time I looked, the VA was refusing to comment about addiction among military personnel in Afghanistan. Anyway, enough, my computer's away for overhaul and I'm on tablet - good to have you back, jspun.

YAY Jspun!!!! :) :) :) Its great to see you back on the thread!!! :) We all missed you, people are always asking for you! Glad to hear that you are keeping well! :)

Yes there are all sorts of parents, no one can call someone a bad parent without knowing the parents & the children. Drinking or using drugs when you are a parent is all about moderation. If you were to drink way too much & get mad drunk or if you were to take to much drugs & get completely out of your head then you probably wouldn't be that capable at looking after your children. But once you don't get out of it when your kids are around & once you always put your kids first then there is no reason what so ever that you can't relax with your poison of choice once the kids are in bed! My kids are both adults now & they are both doing really well! They have made me a very proud Mammy!!! :D

That guy who was looking for a row is only a child himself, young & naive. He tends to come on here & insult people. I don't know why my family were brought up coz i hadn't mentioned them? Although it seemed like a reaction to 3 lovely posts that Brimz, Maxalfie & Alfo wrote, they said some really sweet things about me <3 I think someone got a bit jealous! ;) But we have all blocked him now so it back to normality! (What ever that is?!) As you remember we had another troll on here last year, or maybe they are the same person! Who knows or cares! Hehehe!!! =D

Its really is so good to see you back on Bluelight Jspun!!! :) As you see most people on here can get good gear now at last! Things improved in the UK much sooner then in Ireland. We were still getting bash in Ireland up until about 2 months ago! & then there was a sudden improvement! BC007 came on & posted that he scored good gear in South Dublin & that opened the flood gates! The gear in Dublin is still not as good as before the drought, but its a massive improvement! There is actually heroin in the heroin!!! :)

So make sure you stick around! I know that there is a big time difference between here & the US, but there is nearly always someone awake on this thread! It so SOoooooo.... good to read one of your posts again! Everyone will be thrilled to see you back on Bluelight! Nitey-nite Jspun!!!! XXX

What a lovely surprise .

Yeah that stuff is not to be messed with J . I still do from time to time always regret it . Hoping one day to knock it on the head . Difficult as it's part of the culture:\ , cheap . It's like a booby prize for when i can't afford some real drugs .

Glad your still around on BL brother always enjoy your posts.

What up CC? You mentioned Abu Graib. Why the F#*K haven't W, members of his cabinent, involved military and intelligence brass gotten subeonas from the Hague related to war crimes or Crimes Against Humanity like Milosevic. For neglecting Afghanistan and leaving it to NATO and starting a war in Iraq which we all know was a colosal mistake. W Did this contrary to the advice of many advisors and cabinent members. I'm reading a book about the war in Iraq called The War Within by Bob Woodward, the famous author, journalist, and associate editor of the Washington Post. Page 34 of the book outlines a 5 page Defense Intelligence Agency report on coalition detension facilities and insurgent networks. Basically to summarize what it said, US forces would kick in doors, round up suspected insurgents without much just cause. These men would be detained for up to 6 months after which 75% would be released. To quote, " Many detainees are determined to be innocent of any involvement in the insurgency... but "insurgent recruiters however exploit their feelings of humiliation, anger, and fear while in coalition custody or immediately after release." The report concluded, "insurgents, terrorists, foreign fighters, and insurgent leaders may be more dangerous than they were before being detained." This was from Dec, 2005. Rumsfeld ignored it. Bush was fixated on body counts, Cheney profiteered from the war through his concerns linked to Halliburton and a extraconstitutional army called Blackwater was raised to serve as the presidents own private mercenary army- they were implicated in Killing civilians in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and atrocities in Iraq. One last thing, Colin Powel, the secretary of state after retiring in disgust I think at the beginning of W's second term made a statement that sums up US foreign relations "Folks are getting tired of getting slapped around by the United States," Powell added, "They've stopped listening."

As for the military, they will do their duty but privately they are getting tired of all these wars and multiple deployments. You know I read my last posts and I was posting stuff supporting Ron Paul. He believes in limited government which includes ending wars including the drug war. I laughed rereading that post today because I kept repeating myself like a broken record.=D But he has a point- we are deployed in like 70 countries. Do we really need a military presence in the UK? I'm prety sure we aren't needed- the UK military is more than capable of handling defense without our help. I think were just serving to annoy the British people we Ugly clueless Americans. In addition, Germany for can kick down money for their own defense between bailouts. They do have a AAA credit rating after all. I think non-intervention is the best policy for the USA- end the wars and bring the military home- no more foreign presence and bases. Were 15 trillion $ in debt. Double what we where a decade ago. We could have used a fraction of that money or even $1 trillion to fund a model national health system for every American and foreign visitor. Now we are getting sucked into this Syria thing.

And the vets are comming home broken with PTSD. Alcohol and the dirty secret drug abuse is at epidemic proportions. The VA is underfunded and full of shit. I don't really like Obama. But I really, really don't like Mit Romney.

We Americans are very enigmatic. An aside, I work with a dude, a house keeper at my work who commutes 3 1/2 hours each day from Tijuana, Mexico. The other day he told me, after the Colorado shooting " Everybody is scared to come to my country, but this country is crazier. In my country they shoot you for a reason... but in this country they shoot you at random for no reason at all."

Americans are brainwashed for the most part but with 350 million people there are exceptions. In cities like San Francisco, Oakland, Berkely, Portland, Seattle, there is alot of free thought. Pockets exists in the big cities like NYC and other cities along the Eastern Seabord, Chicago, Honolulu, Anchorage Alaska. People are getting fed up so hopefully will see change. Anyway, enough politics, glad to hear from you!

Thanks for the warm welcome back (and not getting mad- I'm always inserting an N in ructs- my damn wet brain=D. I'm glad this long drought is at an end and may the quality eventually surpass pre-drought levels .... I liked your quote "there's actually heroin in heroin"...classic=D My wife was scared to have me watch my 4 year old because I would start drinking in the morning when not working and i worked three days a week... i agree its about moderation, something i'm not very adept at...but if it was gear I was smoking my wife would have much more confidence in my parenting ability. I'm glad your still here and doing well. We're of the same generation and analogous music scenes...But in all honesty you Europeans (especially you Brits and Irish) are way cooler and hipper than we, your American cousins could ever hope to be.;) Aside from the occasional idiotic troll your probably the most liked and caring person on this thread. Its hella cool to see that your still here posting your usual positive vibes. <3 Back at you girl. H

Brimz How are you my brother?
Difficult as it's part of the culture , cheap . It's like a booby prize for when i can't afford some real drugs .
I know what you mean.:( Almost makes you want to move to a nice large scale poppy growing Islamic country.8o Good to hear from you too.

And Thank you all for making me feel welcome through the past year and a half I've been visiting this thread despite my occasional rants, long winded posts and citizenship. Polemics aside I'd like to think that were all commrades in a world wide strugle against The War on Drugs. I pray that the ties that bind us together are stronger than those that would tear us apart. I gotta get to sleep. Its 0320 hear on the US west coast. I guess its afternoon over there. I do plan to stick around. Good night from me and good afternoon to you all.

sounds like you're looking for a cognitive-behavioural therapist.

Thats what I told him - can be very helpful for lots of problems as it works on the causes not the symtoms.

Hey Jspun good to see your still breathing - booze is such a fucker of a drug it just destroys everything in your body stangely enough I was listning to the wireless yesterady and the topic was liver disease and they were saying only 33% of cases presenting at hospital with fatty liver diseaes (normally associated with booze) the rest wwere down to obesity and other factors that lay fat down on the liver. how is your liver mate?

Im going away next tues for 2 weeks to the land of the Pharaohs which is good as i will taper down to a nice low level might even find some souveneirs

Hey Blondin, Howzit. Booze is the worse drug- I would say worse than even nicotine despite the statistics. I was going into acute liver failure. My LFTs were elevated: AST was 240 and ALT was 200. This is a sign of hepatotoxicity in other words my liver cells were being damaged spilling their contents. Don't know what my Alkaline phosphatase and Albumin were but I would imagine they were high and low respectively. My Kidneys were being effected too as was my cardiovascular system- was put on a beta blocker. I gained 55 lbs since Aug. I was drinking beer mostly- 12 to 15 a day. 6 on the days I had to work- mostly IPAs with 6-9% alcohol content. Which brings up your second point. Fatty infiltration of the liver caused by obesity. Its like force feeding Geese and getting foie gras. As an aside foie gras is illegal in the state as of California now and there is talk of introducing legislation in the state assembly to outlaw trans saturated fats.8) To answer your question my liver is kinda shot- but seems to have improved over the last 21 days. Gotta do a hep panel. My Doc called me with the results and said very timidly "Mr. Spun, do you think you can possibly stop drinking on your own?" This was 2 months before I stoped. Well atleast shes 30 and very nice to look at. Didn't take my recomendations for a hep panel and abdominal ultrasound.

Anyway sorry for getting off topic for a minute there- the politicians of this state baffle me- they can originate some of the most progressive and ludicrous laws at the same time.

How's London with the Olympics in town?

Your going to Egypt? Right on -sounds epic!!!

Hi Jspun, good to see u around again mate.
I don't think we've ever spoke before but I always liked reading your posts and hearing a different view on things from outside of the UK.
Hope to see you around a bit more.

Im surprised youir getting such elevated levels from drinking beer in not to high a volume but everyones bodies are different - as long as you dont get cirohsis(sp) the liver is the most amazing organ with the abilityy to normalise its self.- if it gets the chance to recover. what about switching to bud for a buzz? as for fois grois its too delicious for words and nowadys they dont feed thro funnells any more.

i heard there was opium in eygypt mmmm

Went to score earlier today and bumped into an old friend selling his script, he had meth and a non opioid pain killer call nefopam. I bought his meth and he gave me the nefopam for free, looking on wikipedia it says it potentiates opiates and has some recreational effect of its own.

Took 40mgs of meth about 6hrs ago, then took the nefopam with a few beers about 2 hours ago as my buzz from the meth was wearing off (I don't have a serious habit anymore 2-3 days on the gear 5 - 13 days off), fuck me has this stuff boosted things up, I'm fucked, feels kinda like gear and speed.

Has anyone else come across this stuff? It works like a dream for potentiating your gear.

Scored too, light brown, only sells £40 bags and you get about 1g, fucking dynamite best gear that's been around the west mids for a long time. (Scored in Derby btw)

Thanks amigo, I read your posts in the past and enjoyed them too. Good to be seen, will be around. I talked to a recovering dopefiend today. Aparently the Sinaloa cartel has muscled its way into the San Diego area and there are price wars, better cusstomer service, more dope than there was a year ago in my drunken abscense. Don't know about the rest of the country. Average age of dopefiends here is early 20s, maybe late teens which isn't necessarily new. But now there is an HA established here and the rooms are packed- an indicator of the scene size- for every 20 using 1 gets clean in that demographic.

Blondin

I suspect that since I was taking suboxone for atleast 6 months of that relapse- which is Buprenorphine formulated with Narcan (Nalaxone)- that may have contributed to my hepatotoxicity because I remeber that an anologue- Naltrexone- was supposed to be used in caution in people with hepatitis, liver disease, ect...may be an additive effect. But I'm not as bloated, nauseated, and don't have dark urine anymore- signs of liver toxicity. As for the buds- not a bad Idea but I'm trying to take a break from mind altering compounds. With the exception of my Rx Klonopin- not ready to give that up yet- might taper over time- shit thats harder to get off than dope just about.

as for fois grois its too delicious for words and nowadys they dont feed thro funnells any more.
Sublime, almost as yummy as opium- heaven. Please explain the lack of funnels to our animal rights lobby. By the way I've read that with the funnels the duck and geese would line up the way we junkies would for our morning dose of methadone.

i heard there was opium in eygypt mmmm
and speaking of opium. Just look out for the authorities. However I'm confident that your alot more savy than your avarage traveling seeker- Anyway happy hunting!!!

Moved in with me GF, so im in a different city now. Don't use at all down where i live , but when I go back hometown il get 50 quids worth, have a blast.

Gear has been getting better and better over the months, with only one or two fellas having nice tackle, now though a good number seems to have this powdery light gear, stuff i had last week was 6 / 10 it has bit of a harsh cut, but iv given up cigs!!!!!!!!!!! so maybe thats made a difference. iv heard others have dark stuff, but not tried it meself.

but man the sizes! Still shocking, I mean I prefer it to bash any day!!!! but still things have not got noticeable different, what are other folks finding with sizes in 20£ bags, I dont buy weight,

Latest exchange rate from under the Twisted Spire seems to be 25.92 grams to the ounce. Better than last week's 23.36; and even with an extra fiver on the 'teenth, it's still just marginally better value. Pale beige, sandstone-y texture; looks like a solid rock, but powder crumbles off it. Fast-flowing, dark amber beetle; light or no turds. And of course, suitably stonacious :)

Mind, I'm just coming down from a bad testosterone trip so this might affect my assessment of stonacity.

down in the city of plymouth i find there is still so much of the drought stuff everywhere, its a matter of who you know, as iv found a reliable source and its almost as good as pd..

and yes brimz.. i'm on nitrazepam, and i raid the cupbourds when under influence

good to see all still on here

Ha ha, should be in pentonville as we speak! Played em like kippers though. Scoring was dangerousss today. Yikes.
Hope your Tag Heuer is nice and snug doppel g...and ructions hope you got over all that shit, nasty incident, horrible being abused online init?

Enjoy the land of the Nile blondin, I ain't been away for years now! jammy cunt, great hash over there as well

Hows everyone doing been a while since posted but it seems if things dont change they stay the same point bags available.
So it seems there is still the.bash drought gezr still around thats crazy 2 years on .seems our goodfreind ructions been abused by the look of her fb picture her kids are doing just.fine.
In my opinion the lull in supply is far from over im starting to grow out of it but still cant.stop using.

Nearly 2 years....... Man this shit is mad.

Remember thinking when I heard it was nationwide, ok couple of months, then it was 3-4 months in, then people started going on about when Afgan harvest came in and thinking ok another few months, and it went on AND on. And we are still not out of the woods.

Least there is some half decent stuff about, just want sizes to improve / weight get more widespread.

Hi Ledbury! Good to see you back on Bluelight my auld pal! :) Yes things still haven't returned to normal since the drought. There has been a big improvement in Dublin but its still not as good as before the drought. You'd wonder is it coz there is not enough good gear around or is it coz so many people were happy to buy bash through-out the drought & now dealers know people will buy the gear either way? You'd think that things would have been back to normal a long long time ago! Its a strange one alright! 8(

Thanks for the nice comment about my kiddo's! I am very proud of them! My Son is just after getting a new car, he is over the moon! But it just gives my another thing to worry about! He has been driving the last 2 years but his new car i bigger so i'm worrying more now! He is a very safe driver, but its the other nut jobs on the road that i worry about!

Its great to see so many familiar people back on this thread! I hope everyone stays around! :)
