Hi Griffin! Yep i have noticed how the gear we get can hold me, its so weird there must be some sort of opiate in it, well there must be some heroin in it but maybe with another opiate mix as well?

I had to go to the clinic to-day, i normally go on a Friday but i had to change my appointment, anyway i was positive for opiates & benzos :( I don't know what i was thinking i only gave myself a 7 day break, i need a 9 day break to pass test, i'm gutted :( The Doctor gave me a good talking to,he said if it happens again i'll loose my take away coz its happened a few times lately! :( Ah Bollox!!!

But isn't it strange the way this weak gear can stay in my system for so long? & i haven't even got a build up of gear in my system, i only use 4 times in every 2 weeks, you would think that something as weak as that would be gone out of my system after 7 days!!!!

I also came back positive for benzos, thats a first for me but the Doctor was not impressed, he said anymore opiates or bezos & then my take away will be gone! :(
 
same here brimz im 31 but all the kids i went to school look 5 years plus older than me i would pass 4 under 25 , has i work 4 a housing association quite a bit i see alot of junkies about and im quite sure the gear situation is operating at maybe 50% and good gear is there for the taking .
the stuff im getting although 10 pound a point is good like 9 blondins and will hold you all day without the script but the cluck is pretty evil and i aint quite a million air so trying to do 1 day off 1 day on and that is hard enough because im never stable then

I haven't had lady checks for about 20yrs now and as much as the docs hassle me,I'd just rather not know
 
People regularly think im in my 30's - i was 49 today : )

I was explaining this to someone here the other day my theory..... we all have a certain number of heartbeats from when we are born to the day we die if you take gear your heart rate slows down so that you have the same number of beats but over a longer period of time hence you look younger.

should have added that this also slows the metabolism which bring negatives like constipation but hey im still gorgeous : )

@ Strungout hope all's well with you mate, a gear habit is bad enough but booze on top ! well you know how it is that's why your doin what your doin . Better late than never as they say.

As for looking young , well i'm 41 & i swear i keep gettin chatted up by all these polish 20 something's @ work ;-) , maybe they just want a pay rise ..lol.. I'm always being told how young i look.
Maybe it's like our friend Mr William S Burroughs says " An addict never stops growing. Most users periodically kick the habit, which involves shrinking of the organism & replacement of the junk dependant cells. A user is in continual state of shrinking & growing in his daily cycle of shot-need for for shot completed .

Whether most do is a ? but if you look after yourself diet wise & cleanliness then surely it's gotta help !

Folk always think I am younger than I am, I'm 41 in a few days but most folk say I look like I am in my early 30s.
I thought it could be in my genes as both parents look younger than their age but there could be something to this heroin theory.

with regards to this post i recently had to take a nhs drugs test the day after using gear. the results came back positive for morphine but not positive for opiates which said in brackets hear, smack, horse or something next to it. is it posible the gear could be morphine cut with something? although this gear im getting feels top notch.

like someone pointed out your liver is a remarkable organ , and given the opportunity can repair itself.

As for the gear keeping you looking young , well I'm a fully paid up member of that club, I'm 42 and see people about iv known from school and people iv drunk with over the years , and I think 'oh dear ' what the fuck happened to you.
Most of them are fat , bald , dressed like my grandad and look about 5 years younger then him.

The only thing that shows I'm obviously not as quite young as I look is the fact I'm goin a bit grey. But so what you can't half pick up hats cheep nowadays. LOL.

Intresting Theory mate , i'm glad i ain't the only one it seems that from this board any way that it is normal .
I would say i look about 28 tops n i'm 36 soon the only give away is that i'm going grey pretty rapid !
Mind considering the amount of crack i have done i woulda thought that might of prematurely aged me ?
 
my last swab test (after 9 days) came back neg for morphine and pos for opiates
my keyworker says morphine is the heroin
couldn't give me an explaination for why i was still pos for opiates
 
Kat The longest i had to wait to give a clean test w as 14 days i had to go in i'd used that day it was pos. said i'd be clean neext week n still went pos. they thought i was lying . then after another week i had to go back n it was stil pos .
I said to them that i'll be in every day untill it was clean as i was gonna be put on supervised or kiced off the progarm ( idiid eventually ).
Anway 15th day i pissed clean.

Stilll can't believe it i rekom one of the tests might have read wrong they were only cheap dip strip ones
 
Kat,what you said about those lady checks might save your life.Get your head out of the sand,i know it aint easy.

A synthetic opiate - like, for example, fentanyl - passed off as brown?

Most likely the test gives a false reading, happens all the time

they always do a mouth swab
it's a mystery
last time i gave a sample after not using for 10 days so we'll see if that is clean

as for the lady tests-docs have been trying to get me to do them for years but there is no way i am gonna be persuaded to do it
I have no fear of death whatsoever and really don't give a shit-sorry

Fent has got a very short half life so i doubt it would be that.

I refuse to have a test unless it is proper lad one where they send it off and i get to see the results luckily that's all my Doc does n he does it to check i'm taking my script not so he can use it as a weapon against me .

I never want to have to be deal with the local DSP again they have caused me nothing but bother .
Give me a properly qualified GP any day , a dieing breed these days

As you said the Dip strip , Swab and other cheap tests are terrible and often give false results .

I mentioned that we had a faulty batch down here that resulted in some poor sods getting kicked off their scripts temporarily although i'm sure some ended up in jail or such like through getting dropped .
Makes me fukin angry.

Deffo not fent thats in and out in hours , heroin only has a 1/2 life of 6 hours or so, methadone 24-36 hours - so its amazing that you get dirty tests after such a long time. As for morohine thats is what heroin metabalizes to after going thro the blood/brain barrier - thats why heroin gives you the rush as it passes alot quicker than morpine thro' the barrier. Should be grateful they dont test hair than can show up weeks/months afterwards
 
I couldn't score in Dublin due to drought from November to March, so i was giving clean urine samples for all that time, so my Doctor put me on take away methadone & moved me from methadone clinic to my local private GP clinic, now i only have to do a drug test once every 2 weeks, instead of every week.

Then i started scoring again every now & then. Because i only do a drug test once every 2 weeks now i can use for 4 days & stay clean for 10 days (i have an incredibly slow metabolism) that way i pass the drug test & keep my take away, the weak gear we are getting in Direland is not worth loosing my take away methadone over!

Anyway in the Private clinic i see a different Doctor nearly every week, lately i've been messing up a lot & failing my drug test, so i've been given a warning. The Doctors use some sort of dip test, they test me & tell me the result there & then. Yesterday the heroin & valum showed up in my urine, i had stayed clean for 7 days, but thats never enough for me, i need to stay clean for 9 to 10 days to test negative, even with the weak gear & even though i'm not using regularly, i've no big build up of heroin in my system.

Anyway when my test is positive some Doctors say that its positive for opiates & the next time a different Doctor will test me & say i'm positive for morphine, i just thought the Doctors meant the same thing, i thought they were just phrasing the same result a different way, as in morphine or opiates. But now i'm wondering if my tests are giving different results each time even though i'm using the very same gear all the time. Do you know what i mean? Does it mean the same thing if Doc says positive for morphine/opiates?

Yesterday the Doc said i was positive for morphine, my teeth are very sore so i told Doctor i had taken Nurofen Plus (that old lie!) i'm sure he knows i'm lieing, but he never said that a morphine result couldn't be Nurofen Plus. So does positive for morphine/opiates mean the same thing? Is it like the way we say gear or brown? Or is this crappy gear i'm using showing up as different things different weeks?

I scored in North Dublin yesterday, the gear was a nice tan powder, as usual it looked perfect & burned perfect on the foil, & it left nice dark trails, everything you'd expect from proper heroin! BUT i think its weaker then what i was getting was 8 days ago. There is little or no taste off the gear at all! HONESTLY my cigarettes taste stronger then this heroin (i use the word heroin lightly!!!) I haven't taken methadone since yesterday so this gear is holding me, normally i'd be dieing if i'd gone this long without my methadone!!! But its not getting me proper stoned. Its making me a bit relaxed & sleepy, I haven't taken any valum in over a week but this gear is giving me a real valum buzz, its taking me ages to write this bloody post!!! 8( (waffle~waffle~waffle!!!) But its nothing like a proper heroin buzz, its a different sort buzz! Not worth the money i spent, i could have bought valum MUCH cheaper & got the same buzz!!

I'm still paying the same price as before the drought, yet the stuff is only about a quarter the strength as it was before the drought! Last week the size of the bags shrank dramatically! I complained & said i would score off him again, so he rang me & said sorry & that he'd sort it out. So this week he has nice big bags again but he has clearly just danced on already bad gear! I really don't know why i buy the stuff, there is just no point!

Real heroin has a very strong taste & smell, it used to make me gag! & real heroin makes you stoned, why else would people sell their soul for it? But this stuff, i don't know what the hell this stuff is??? Its just like expensive smokable valum!
