anyhoo-still on bail here
and just called my man for a nice big lump-he says he can only do teenths at a higher price cos the gear is proper good
so i ordered 3 and he needs to be here about now(dribbling in anticipation)

After reading about it here(I don't recall who said it),I have been watching 'Oz'.
It's really good.I downloaded all 6 seasons.
Trouble is that watching things that have drug use in,even if it is just people snorting gear so pretty ambiguous,it always makes be hanker after some gear.
Does anyone else get this?
Also, has anyone else watched it and can comment?
"TITS","I WANT TITS!!!"

Yes! Trainspotting, American gangster, basketball diaries pretty much any mention of gear on films or in the media make me wanna score! And that's after being off it for 16 months!

I always try to download tv shows as a torrent, but as at least a whole series,so I can watch them back to back;no waiting a week for next episode. Also no adverts.
Yeah,I really like Oz-can't believe I haven't seen it before.I do remember seeing trailers for it on TV a long time ago.
Same as 'The Corner' and most HBO shows;it's wierd seeing those same actors in different roles.HBO seem to use the same set of actors a lot of the time. But they do it because they are great actors,so that's ok.

I noticed a good few of the guys from OZ ended up in The Wire and a couple of them are in Dexter now. Recently found out that Adebisi is actually English. His African accent is spot on.

Glasgow has had some of the best gear ive ever had in the last few weeks. It just just slightly off white, but not quite tan and quite powdery. It just runs in a beautiful black streak, none of this orange/red shit. The bags are roughly .15-.20, but a simple toot of 1 bag has me nodding, and I have a high tolerance. I guess I most be lucky, as my man told me the guys he gets from advised him to cut it, apparently this is what most people are doing with this gear. It is heavenly good, the situation seems quite stable. I took a break from the gear because of the drought and because I was sick of it, when I went back in around July my guy had "proper brown" which I would rate at 6/10, nothing spectacular but good at the time. After this the next batch he got was great, almost like the current batch but darker in colour and less potent, I'd say 8/10...

As for this gear, considering the UK scene as a whole I'd say this is as close to a 10/10 as I'm likely to get here, such a potent toot. I'd restrain from giving it the hallowed "10/10", and say 9.5/10...but in the years I've been tooting, this stuff is easily one of the top 3, if not the top, batch I've ever had. Magnificent :D

GOOD LUCK, Mr and Mrs Bigman.

I hope you get the chance to read this - not via any computer facilities Barlinnie might now offer its inmates - and post to let us know at least one of you made it home tonight.

Thanks kat for mentioning Oz! As a big fan of The Corner and The Wire, I decided to check it out. Only watched 3 episodes and I'm hooked, anything HBO touches seems to turn into telly gold, and I doubt I would find this show if it hadn't been mentioned here, so thank you =D

MR BIGMAN: Good Luck my man! May your sentence be short. Your Royal majesty's prisons are coed? Don't know if they allow mixing, but in constrast to these united States, were shamefully we are the world's largest jailer per capita. At about 30,000 pounds per year plus per in mate no wonder we are broke and the world is going down the tubes with us. Those prison guards (who sponsored the "mostly tea party Freshman Congressmen (and women) were given an orientation on governance- you know how to vote, ect... they were sent to confressences in 5 star hotels, in the State of Hawaii- half on the Island of Maui, the other half on the Island of Kaui...the vangaurd of change, a perversion of the right...some had good ideas...but this conference was sponsored BY THE PRISON GUARDS UNION OF AMERICA...guess how they would influence the vote...and as dumb as some of these tea partiers...well they made easy pray.

In California, the US supreme court, though filled with conservative judges rulled that the "liberal" State of California had to release or reprimand from prison top jail a number of inmates, so shameful was overcrowding and the attendant problems. Guess those supreme court Justices felt left out of the party in Hawaii. At any rate, some times checks and balances work in this country...hurray for the judicial branch.

I've talked to alot of people that have spent time inside and it seems to depend were your reprimanded...you can non-affiliate and mind your bussiness or be reprimanded to a facility were you affiliate or become someone's bitch. Always confounded me why the different races didn't all unite against the guards...b/c they are too stupid or more plausibly more smart...racial divides and squables provides division and a market for contraband that different gangs and cooperating prison gaurds can exploit to make money on contraband- sometimes inside the walls than outside.

Well so much for rehabilitation:(

So anyrate wire and Oz are Hollywood but they have alot of basis in reality. I doubt HM's Prisons can be that bad. At any rate, whatever your ethnicity, I would imagine that whites aren't the minority (but don't know what your ethnicity is). Would imagine that factions like the old soccer firms, IRA priosoners (if the aren't all housed on that one Island prioson which escapes my mind in the south of England), and other ethnic gangs: Pakis, Turks, African, West Indies blacks, ect might be divided. Is this the case? My impression is that overall British, and European Prisons (with the exception of Greece and maybe some former Eastern Euro Com Bolck members, are safer the prisons in the USA. I know from you guys that private prisons have made inroads but I have a feeling that UK or Irish prisons unless you are a member of some Irish republican spinter group or jihhadi group in which case MI5, or some agency in the UK police apparatus would beat the shit out of you during questioning (seriously taboo here per the constitution...unless your reprimanded to Guantanamo Bay, hence its existance "nominally outside US soil")...I would think that time would be safer and more humane- but I might be 100% wrong. Please educate me on the realities of the penal system in the UK and other European Nations (ok UK and Eire would suffice). The sickest thing in the USA, UK, Eire, South Africa, and atleast in the English speaking, world, probably outside of it, is that drug addicts and small time purveyors are the bread and butter of the prison world. In this country cannabis offenders make up a majority- fucking ridicoulous- in states outside CA- but CA has a 3 strikes law- 3 strikeable fellonies and you get 25- life- some have been sent for petty theft to feed their family because they can't get a job when released.

You end the war on drugs, the incarceration, lost productivity from blacklisted qualified skilled workers (users or purveyors), the money spent incarcerating, the lives corrupted in a despicable way that defines the incarceration process. Squandered tax payer money... prisoners that in this country require 2 prison guards when hospitalized (that work 16 hr shift and get major overtime), more importantly the trauma and danger that incarceration for drug crimes represents. In this country it is unconstitutional for the time to be worse than the crime but people are so brainwahed- yet perceptions our changing, but they are much worse.

Bigman, goodluck and may your time pass quickly! Fucking shameful situation, and shame on us all for letting the government get away with these CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY. You shouldn't be jailed, your prosecuters and jailers should be standing trail in The Hague and the politicians that uphold these laws that are violations of basic human rights.

Anyway weeds and my personal favorite, breaking bad are good series.

Kat- you only got to see part of Perry Farrels's the Gift, not to be confused with another mainstream movie of that name. It would be worth finding on ebay- gives some realistic insights into the late 80s LA drug scene, though somewhat idealized, its my favorite (they are probably really fixing tar in the movie- its Jane's Addiction after all. Drugstor Cowboys less grity, more idealized, but based on Jame's Fogel's true story about robbing pharmacies in Portland, Oregon (circa early 70s). FYI, Fogel, after years clean, decided to rob another drugstore in the last few years and got what at his age was a life sentence.

Trainspotting is cool too but...

Bigman: Forget the UK, move to Hawaii, the Big Island (there is supposedly a big population of people in the Witness prtection progrm in "the Hove" in the South West side of the Island you can go blend in with unless "Dog, the Bounty Hunter" comes after you (who is well hated in the Islands according to a firnd of mine from Honolulu on BL, or take your money and find a cheap south pacific Island or Costa Rica. Actually Mexico or Cambodia would be ideal for heroin addicts- but their future is in jeapordy. Brazil- not sure of the Gear scene. But the USA is a big country to get lost in our if sentencing/ fugitive status is a problem, comming through the back door aint hard, thousands of people do it every day even from the canadian border.

What ever happens, my most sincere wishes for good luck!

Not looking good as we haven't heard anything from the Bigman
we can only hope he and his Mrs are out celebrating their freedom

Any females that have done time recently,I would love to hear from you as I haven't been to jail before
Would like to know what to expect and learn something of the required etiquette

IRA prisoners, jspun? Apart from the odd quixotic 'Real' or 'Continuity' IRA man, there've been no IRA men in UK gaols since the Good Friday Agreement sent them all home. Think there was one guy who served about 18 months, or about 60 days for each murder of which he was convicted. But, hey, that's politics. Whether you agree with the government that the UK holds no political prisoners depends on how broadly you define the term.

While inmates tend to congregate along racial lines, there's little in the way of Aryan Brotherhood or Black Power organisations inside British nicks. Felons unfortunate to be incarcerated in the US miss the cosy camraderie and downhome humour of the British recidivist. Numerous black cons convert to Islam and one or two take it onwards on their release - shoe bomber Richard Reid is a notorious example. Rape and officer corruption is not unknown but it's nowhere near the industrial scales of the US.

On arrival, the convict is given a category, from A to the most serious offenders ( not allowed to move about the prison except with an escort ) to D cat for the shoplifters, and the institution in which they serve their sentence is decided accordingly. There are, I think, 8 'dispersal' prisons for the A cat men and B cat prisoners to fill the spaces; while security is tighter, conditions are generally better for the long distance men. As time goes by, the prisoner 'earns' a change of category until, usually toward the end of their sentences, they're moved to a D cat or open prison. If, after twenty years or so of gaoling, the prisoner succumbs to the temptation to 'do a walker', on recapture they're returned to a closed facility and usually given extra time as well.

The old Victorian prisons still serve, but the old 'slopping out' - emptying the toilet bucket - so beloved of UK prison lore is now all but extinct. As always, aping our transatlantic masters, the abomination of the 'contract prison' is now well established in the UK and most of the - many - newly built institutions are on a 'for profit' basis. Ironically, most drug prisoners angle for a private gaol - methadone is dispensed to inmates more generously and for longer periods than in state gaols. The Prisons Officers are unique among Unions in that theirs was the only one to whose demands the union-bashing Thatcher government conceded when 'go-slows' and mass absences through 'sickness' were followed by escapes and inmate riots. The union remains powerful and, as in the US, if you're thick, unthinking and can wield a baton, a prison officer's job will ensure you're better paid than your neighbour in what remains of our factories.
