I probably should have just edited my last post as opposed to writing a new one but as it's on such a different level I thought it better to do a new post.

I have been bumping this brown all evening and night, snorting bits at a time and I'm all euphoric, relaxed and I have been for hours! Had some nice conversations with a few BLers who I've not had the pleasure of speaking to before and had a really nice evening despite being stuck in bed because of the operation.

One thing that I have noticed with this stuff is that once you start sobering up from the high you do so quickily. That's not to say that it doesn't last long in the first place, because I find that it holds you well but once you feel it wearing off it does so fairly quickily. Not in an unpleasant way either, who knows, maybe it's just a tollerence thing and because this is the first time in a year that I have had two batched of ACTUAL gear in a row!

Right well I'm off to have another snort (sorry guys, I like to snort my gear, don't hate me!), get a nod and fall a sleep!

Anyway, it might sound lame but I got this from Perter Tosh "Aparteid". Had to deal with horrible methadone situations too. My last clinic clossed 1900, the one before was open 0600-1100, and they would close the door a minute before.

If Scotland borke off from Britain amd i know their is a robust sovereignty movement- wonder what that would do about the gear scene, harm reduction, ect...forget about using peat as fuel... seize some of that North Sea Oil.

I've heard of a few people getting kicked off the meth' for continued dirty samples. As for Scottish freedom I think it's too late for us. If we seceded from the union about 40 years ago we may have had a chance when our oil stocks are high. Scotland is the poorest oil rich country in the world and everything bad about western Europe is in Scotland. We have the murder capital in Glasgow and the AIDS capital in Edinburgh. We are second only to Russia for registered drug addicts. There's also a wealth of other illnesses and diseases that Scotland has more of than any other European country and we also have the worst slums in western Europe.

One big problem we have is our people. The majority in our country are English/queen loving, pro-unionist fuck heads that are known as Huns to sound minded people. Here's an example of fucked in the head they are: The football team they support up until the mid to late 1980s had a policy where they would not sign a Roman Catholic player. If a Catholic signs for them he is not allowed to bless himself in front of the fans.They are such racist scumbags that they even hate people of their own race. I hate this country. At their home matches the Huns sing Rule Britainia. They sing of a brutal empire long forgotten and forget that Britain is now nothing but an insignificant little pin prick off the coast of western Europe. I hope to escape from here some day.

thanks jspun, they used to be quite hard on smack here when i started back in the early to mid 90's, being caught with just a few £10 bags cud have resulted in a prison term, and know a few people who were fragiled off to hmp for under a gram back then, even small time cannabis dealers wud get raided to and put away for under £100 worth of pot, but alot changed , i only got 60hrs community service (unpaid work order) for 1/4 of a ounce, kknown people to walk out of court whom have been caught with over a ounce,


(ructions) im been clean 7 nearly 8 days now, well clean of low grade heroin, doing well on 40mls of meth, i lost 1/8th and just over a gram 9 days back, i had it hidden outside and council clean up crewe must have scooped it up, have used that place for 3 yrs before this, and never been remotely touched before, since the drought started ive used alot of gear, £1000's worth, and only think i did coz it was there, knew it was low grade but couldnt stop it, but have manged to stop using it now, but altough i know ive got a handle on it, i wont use this to stop fulltime, as i enjoy heroin, and will use again when it gets better, heroin is my only vice, and i challenge anyone to live a worth while life without a vice or doing the thing they enjoy most, i find if i tried stopping fullstop i would fail, but teling myself i can and will use now andthen works for me, just as not using ever works for others. if that makes sence, im just so fed up with it getting slightly better only for a few days later getting worse. anyway enough rambling...

I just went 12 days clean but scored on Friday and today. The gear was crap I thought and now wish I hadn't bothered scoring.
I think the 12 day break helped to show me I can get through the week without having to have gear everyday.
So my plan is to go and treat myself to something nice with rest of my wages before I waste it on crap gear.
Worth a try and with xmas coming around it will enable me to actually be able to buy presents for folk this year.

Got in from shopping (nightmare, not only had to double back on myself due to one place being out of something but also nearly overbalanced myself with my rucksack) and put everything away, and was literally just on the bottom stairs going up to see if my Partner In Crime (who has been poorly lately) wanted a coffee, when the front door went.

In walks PIC, who I didn't know was even out, bearing an unexpected gift!

So I got out the Jimmy Boyle and fashioned us a couple of flutes, and we had a toot. Really nice gear, probably pre-drought quality even (if I said pre-drought before, I was wrong, I admit. This was the real McCoy). I have probably had 0.2 to 0.3 g. and am as mashed as I've been off 0.5 to 0.6 g. of other recent stuff. This was a stone worth waiting the best part of the year for. Rush at first, itchy and unable to pee, followed by a nice nod.

Maybe I'll try and give it a break now till, say, bonfire night. I think it's easier to stop for awhile after a good batch that leaves you contented, than after a bad one that leaves you unsatisfied. But I'll put the money that I would have spent scoring in a safe place, so I can treat myself to something nice with it.

I posted this after hearing a BBC report of racism against Roman Catholics in the working class of Scotland. If you want to leave Scotland and XMitch, if you want a place were cannabis is tolerated and the authorities are to busy to care about to much in the way of enforcement- they go after the harder drugs but the dealers are the big priority. Come to the Golden State.We've lost population, now is a good time to immigrate. With a EU visa it shouldn't be to hard. Life aint bad here. Religion and ethnicity aint an issue- with the foriegn accent you'll probably have an advantage over the us natives hooling up with laddies. Runctions Runctions, I read your post. You've been through alot> i am sorry that you had to suffer so badly and hope that venting here gives you some consolation. You have been subject to what collectively can be called crimes against humanity, but what makes it highly significantis because there is only one runctions and I think that I speak for all on this thread in that we all love you and feel for your plight. You were victimized and this victimizer, in my estimation has found AA or an analogous program and was working a 9th step (that has nothing to do with you but with their sobriety and trying to make ammends (ie righting wrongs and not causing the same wrong.) That part is about their own sobriety. Now in your case you sound like you have an enourmously faboulous support system. As hard as it is to accept and as easy as it is for me to say meet injustice and evil with forgiveness- might not be a bad strategy. Anyway, I'm your former non-drinker degenerating into hopeless drinking these last few weeks.

There is a human tragedy- the powers that be might be slightly enlightened to take humanstic and compassionate coarse of action by letting us have our remedy being cognizant of our suffering and its cure as opposed to letting us suffer cacooned in their morally superior ivory tower. May the Father of Lights give you peace and solace. I'm sorry what you have had to endure.

That's just not true. Libya is poorer both in terms of both total GDP and GDP per capita. Edinburgh is not the AIDS capital of Europe (source), Glasgow is not the murder capital (link), and your other claims are subjective and unverifiable...

Vader, not to contradict you but I started all this based on a televised program on the BBC. It stated that althoough the integration of Catholics has been happening, among the working classes of Scotland there is this sence that Catholics are discriminated against still because of tradition. This is based ion football firms (again according to the BBC) and the Football chants are generational. Anyway, the same BBC reported that the reublic (garda) rolled up 4 individuals opposed to the Northern Ireland Peace Process. Anyway, considering what Runctions is going through I decided that the question was irrelavant. What is important is that Runcts gets through this- now again the 9th step, if that is what this man is attempting is for his own sobriety. Now he is at your bidding, Runctions, depending on his sponsor, he might be agreable to a sit down with him (maybe his sponsor) but most importantly you and your boyfriend. It might provide catharsis, bashing his head (that we all secreatly hope for), might not be the coarse of action....but we would all most likely want to see this.... because you are well loved on this thread. In Welshe's Novel trainspoting he called the people of Glasgow Soap dodgers...and HIV is an aknowledged truism of the Edinburgh scene.

As far as moving, I think you all would like California, it has its flaws, but hooking up- well if you go to methadone clinic I'm sure you would find a connect. the state has its open aires...smoking #4 quality mex is not far from #3 apghani, especially since the drought. Runctions, I think the San Francisco Bay Area would be a place you and your boyfriend would find agreable, for a number of reasons (and there is now China White competing with the substandard tar by San Diego standards (that post drought probably aint bad). That you would give up the drudgery of the brit Isles would be very pleasing to me and good for my country- but i moved from Northern to Southern California and still miss that seasional change- were like Morrocco or Southern Spain/ Portugal weather wise. But I think that talk about the weather is irrrelevat with what you have going on.

For any other potential immigrants- mexico (TJ) is loaded with open air dope scenes-but so is Canada, I hear...so on the whole Canada would probably be the best place to immigrate (and its part of the British Commonwealth of Nations).

just finishing watching the 6 series of OZ again over the last week of sleepless nights, where they called the heroin tits? anyone know why? they seeem to get them in little glass bottles. is this true of the american prisons or a gross exaggaration.? as what ive heard and seen in uk prisons is shite. and led me into thinking what it mkust be like for people banged up in hmp at the moment, prison gear always low strengh cack, but now it must be total total crap.

Heroin in US prisons is not low quality, in fact it is often as good as the average street dope in the area, heroin just costs about 5 to 10 times more for a dose in prsions..heroin is the drug of choice in prisons in the US, besides weed or pcp laced cigarettes, both of which are harder to smuggle in than a ballon of heroin ...

Also you mentioned that you think it is callous of someone to deal heroin that is not a heroin user! lol,,I never buy dope from a junkie, only heroin dealers, if the dealer uses dope, then chances of getting lower quality heroin or getting rippped of and so on are much higher!! Most US heroin dealers are not users, they see the effects of heroin on some people and do not want to be a junkie, like with crack dealers in the US, no one that sells crack, besides small amounts smokes crack in the US!! It's called not getting high on your own supply, becasue if you are hooked then bigger dealers don't want to have a crackhead out with a few hundred worth of crack, becasue they would smoke up the crack and no one would make money! People sell drugs to make money, at least the larger dealers do, and that lets them have a clear mind to do business properly, and also assures that the drugs will not be cut by the dealer so they can save some to get high and end up dealing weak dope,and that would put them out of business as the competition would have better product! No junkies for dealers thanks, I use heroin myself and would not trust myself with an ounce or more of dope to sell, I would end up going on a dope binge and be out a lot of money and that will get you killed here!

Hommie's got a point. But my last connect was a user from the clinic- and he had outstanding dope and prices! But they would occasionally vary, as would the quality of his dope- he would use- had dope fronted- and would sometimes get ahead of himself... was mostly solid...but some time his dope would be bashed At any rate, my wife had given birth, I was trying to be good, I went by his house and he and his wife had dissapeared- his manager or landlord happened to be in the appartment complex and asked if I heard anything from him- looking in the window- the place still had furniture, that I could see...through a crack in the the window shade...looked like someone was trying to get out of town in a hurry...or never made it...never went back to find out.

You know a few days ago when I smoked some for the first time, felt a bit chilled apparently my eyes were really pinned, didn't feel any need to try again. Now I quite fancy it, if only for the fact I wasted a bit by being crap and burning it too much. Is that what usually happens? You think "oh it's only for curiosity and then bam!" and still reading about peoples addictions doesn't put you off. I won't though and my mate said he'd slap me if I asked for more, heh. I feel bad for him though he might start using more because I can't get any benzos for him as quick as I wanted, he's sorted himself out with other things in the past though so I'm sure he'll be okay.

Weevil Please, if you don't use don't start ( we used to dole out the same advice for surfing- to keep the lineup thined out- but I'm being sincere and practical.). Anyway, I'm getting on my typical tangents- it sounds like you don't have an endogenous aberation in your brains endorphenerrgic system. In other words you aren't probably the unlucky few of us that need opiates to feel normal or some degree of contendendness. So my advice is don't carry on. Alot on this thread have an endogenous opioid defenciency- one that big pharma hasn't solved but the Swiss heroin scheme and the few lucky Brits have been treated judiciously- problem solved.

Wevil, your scaring me- don't pursue gear- or welcome to a lifetime of hell, can't desribe it any other way. Ask yourself this question at the end of the day- do you really need it to be happy using this class of drugs, if the answer is no, bail out while you still can ( there is aloy of shite going aroound in the UK, Eire, and much of the rest of Europe. No one knows when the end will come. Once you get a habit, and invariably, most though not all do, you will be in a world of hurt- a living hell that many of us know all to well. Don't know your story but if you've done alot of E or acid, have a current problem with drink, or have psychological issues, the innevitable will get you in its vice grip lickedly quick.

jspun thanks for your advice, you're right I DON'T need it, I have liked my opiates in the past and was addicted to poppy tear for the worst year of my life (I needed the tea to just hang on) but it's mostly been self medicating. I have a good GP now who understands me and trusts me, which is rare I think. I will probably be around my mate when he uses but since he shoots it'll just look like any old injection. I know where he scores but I'd be too terrified of trying that myself even if I wanted to, experienced people have been beaten up there.

I wanted to reply to you earlier about California, that was always my retirement dream of emigrating there as an old man, growing weed and travelling about in a motorbike and sidecar with an old cat happily sitting in the sidecar wearing a red bandana.
