Nitpicking or junkie-bashing pharmacists are an annoyance. A locum here refused to give a mate her script on the grounds it was 'too big'and it would be irresponsible to dispense what was 'obviously a doctor's mistake'. Ignored staff assurances she'd picked up the same dose for years and confirmation from the clinic and only released it when the consultant was contacted two and a half hours later, In this instance, staff made a formal complaint about such high handed behaviour and the locum hasn't been seen again. I'd do the same, Ructs, and ask his superiors for clarification as to future procedure.

Hi Charlie! I'm gonna kick-up over this, he refused me my script at 5pm on a Saturday evening knowing that there was nowhere else that I could go at that time on a weekend. When he wouldn't give me my take-away script I asked for one supervised dose but he said no. So then I asked him for half my dose, I would have settled for 30mls instead of my 60mls, but he just kept pointing at my script saying "This says Friday" He was a moron! Even the other staff members agreed that I often get my script on a Saturday coz of my job. He said that I should take time off work, he would budge.

As far as I know he should have at least given me half my dose supervised, I'm sure that is the rule if they want to stick to the rules. Anyway roll on tomorrow, I'll be like a dog with a bone over this!

to be fair on the pharmacy the laws on prescribing controlled drugs i.e. methadone are very strict and any deviation from the prescription can lead to major issues for the staff.
I hope your coping Ructs you ought to be fine, but if you are feeling the onset of WD's within 19 hours on 60mls its not the amount of 'done thats the issue it must be that you metabalise it quicker than most in which case ignore what i said about only dosing once and look at splitting the does. You should ask your doc to investigate this as its quite unusual for long term MMT patients to have such a short hold on a dose, like i said before most peeps could hold out for a minimum of 2 days after a long stretch on 'done.

What it's done to this poor girl is shocking. I don't see her much these days, but the last time I did she looked like a malnourished boy of about 12-14 on account of the weight she lost. It was quite a shock when she ran up to hug me, I thought I was about to be mugged as I couldnt but a face to the name, nor a gender to the frame as any remnant of feminine physique had left.

It's horrible stuff, it was a much quicker spiral for me when i was way into it, 6'1 and 8 stone at one point in 09, i looked destroyed, a shell. Luckily you can come back from it, healthy as i've ever been now, but its so fiendish that i found it harder to kick short term than that nastiest opiate wd i've suffered. A long break and the thought of it disgusts me though, the smell, guess that could be a good thing, never been into it much but the idea of some stone sounds very appealing! Wheras the thought of even the smell of meph makes me want to gag.

@pontifex really re mxe? interesting, does it potentiate opiates in any way? Got some codeine and ethylmorphine but they do sod all, just to help a bit waiting for a bit of meth and it turns out even thought it didnt feel like a rattle that must've been what killed off my appetite, been eating fine today since i got em wheras the tohught of food disgusted me since weds, got a little bit of mxe too. It potentiate em? or just a small dose to help with tolerance

Nah, there used to be o-desmethyltramadol about which i loved, got a really heavy habit with it though as i could get it real cheap, to me it was more euphoric than any opi i've tried, except only orally, i never got shit from shooting it. But thats long gone now, and about to be made illegal. The only other research opioid i'm aware of that's available is ah-7921 which is shite, vaped like a dream but blistered my tongue, and no nice effects except a nod off higher doses. No euphoria at all

Hi Pontifex! Thanks for the info! You'll have to bare with me a bit, I thought that I'd tried every drug going until I came onto Bluelight! But I have never heard of half of the drugs spoken on here! I'm 40 years old so none of these drugs were around when I was in my experimenting years and then once I started using heroin I gave up on all drugs (including alchol) and I stayed 100% faithful to heroin. But I'm really curious to find out more about these head-shop drugs, especially since the heroin drought has ruined the quality of heroin in Ireland.

I used to take Ketamine a lot when I was younger, but I think K is MUCH stronger the heroin. I could always function on heroin, go to work, visit family ect. But I couldn't have done any of that after taking K. But I'm really curious about MXE, I've heard of MXE but I have no idea what it is? Is it smoked, snorted or swallowed? All of the head-shops in Dublin have been closed down now, they used to be open 24hours a day! But there was plenty of heroin around at that time so I never bothered with the head shops, I wish they were open now!

Are all the drugs that were sold in the head-shops still available? Is it sold on the street? Or is it only on the internet? My Son is 21, he has no idea about my heroin habit, he would die if he knew I used gear. But I have always educated him about hash/weed, I would much rather see him smoking a joint then drinking a bottle of vodka. Thankfully he is a good lad, he doesn't drink much but he enjoys his few joints.

I remember he bought stuff in a head shop, it was the head shops version of weed, he thought it was handier to shop in the head shops. I thought that it would be rubbish, 'fake weed' I told him, don't waste your money! So he told me to have a smoke off his spliff. I don't smoke hash/weed any-more, I used to years ago, but now-a-days I find it way to strong for me. Anyway I had a blow off his joint & I was totally out of my head!!!! It was like taking acid!!!I couldn't even speak! My Son & his mates were falling around laughing at me! I had told them stories of what a big hash smoker I was in my day! and here I was passing out after smoking a tiny bit of a joint! 8( I'm such a lightweight these days! I couldn't believe how strong the stuff from the head shop was! I wished I'd tried out more of the stuff that they sold!

So I'd love to find out more about mex, I'd love to see if its anything like gear?! The thing about gear is that once your on it a few years you can function perfectly on it, no one ever knew I was a heroin addict. Do you reckon people can function normally on mxe? Is it expensive? Is it addictive? How do you take it? How long do the effects last? (sorry about all the questions, I'm just really curious!)

I can't speak for anyone else but I certainly haven't heard of any of the heroin addicts I know injecting meph.
I only live in a small town so don't know what its like in the cities.

i haven't heard of it and am really over stims, but i love injecting and have shot pretty much anything, once you're in that mindset it doesn't really matter but the comedown from days of IV stim is bad, so the paranoia and stuff in the article isn't really suprising. the tolerance rises and returns (using more per dose, with less time between, with less of a result) are a lot faster than with sniffing, obviously.

Hi Blondin My Doctor is looking into why my WD's come on so fast, I think he is worried it might be something else besides WD's. I thought that I might be going through the change (oh god I'm getting so old!!!!!) But he has ruled that out totally (Phew!!!) He gave me a letter to go to the hospital for blood tests, but I haven't gone yet, I better go soon! Heroin stays in my system for around 9 days so I must have a very slow metabolism? I better just go for the blood tests & take it from there!

But I'm not really that great, the only reason that I'm not using gear is coz there is nothing worth using in Dublin and since I started college in September I'm broke coz I'm only working part-time now. I'm gonna try not use heroin till xmass but I can't see myself never using heroin again, I'm not ready for that yet! But you never know, as Maxalfie said I might get used to not scoring! Thanks everyone for you advice & kindness! As always the Bluelight posse are my rock! I'd have been lost with-out you all over the last two years!!! I had no one (except for my BF) to talk to about heroin before I came on here. It makes me feel normal been able to talk about it instead of bottling it all up!!!

Ructions - That's fucking disgraceful that they wouldn't give you your script a day after you were supposed to pick it up!
Ketamine and Methoxetamine will provide some relief from Opiate withdrawal, but I'm not sure if they have any affinity for µ-receptors.
But it's true that they lower the tolerance to Opiates (and Ethanol I think) so they could be a good substance to either get off Opiates or pass the time until your next pick-up without feeling like an utter wreck.

I've not scored in... Probably around a month (due to being poor as fuck) - Last time I called him he said "Easy [name]! Not heard from you in a while man!"
But I've been doing fairly well with my upped doses of Diazepam and Codeine.
That's not to say that, if I had some cash spare, I buy some now - Hoping to do so soonish - and it's right good quality, just the amounts are small for what I'm paying.
Still, I know that many people are still getting bash.
It'd be a good time to get on Methadone or Buprenorphine until things pick up again. I think that because I score in a large town that the supply outranks the demand, but the bloke I score from is also one of the few dealers who doesn't want to sell bash. He's always been good to me, likely because I've scored off him for years!
I'm the only one he'll tick to also, which is nice to know as it says that he trusts me.

Anyhoo, with 150mg 3 x daily of Codeine and 8mg 3 x daily of Diazepam, I'm finding things easier and feel almost like a real boy! Not a pinocchio! :D

Can't wait to score some and see what's what right now. If I've enough cash then I'm gunna get some crack too as - compared to powder - is so pure! It's mental!

Interesting, i tried a bit on its own friday and it helped with some background anxiety that i didnt even realize until it had lifted, low doses though. I've always found on a high dose its 8 hours of unabkle to walk or talk properly, i might have 10mg or so in a bit but diaz & opis + booze, doubt it really needs potentiation though i noly feel a bit drunk. Higher doses than say 100mg(when i had a big dissocitive tolerance) wouldnt just be noticable, it would be destructive, unablke to walk properly or talk or owt, you look and act worse than a reallly nice gouch. Its illegal in the UK now and has been for a few months, not in any headshops or owt

i KNOW PEOPLE WHO HAVE SHOT linctus with a big fuck off rig - very dangerous, one fella did it in his jugular and suffered a mild stroke as his brain was flooded with it. The only way you can really shoot it is if you get amps or tablets, methadone is water solubale so crushing up the pills and dissolving in water works. BUT there is little point in it as there is no rush to speak of and the b/a orally is very high.

Do not go near Methadone with a Rig ever .

No benefit . Same goes for Temazepam eggs back in the day , their was no benefit to shooting them cos they came on well quick anyway still nuff folk did n plenty of limbs were amputated.

i had a 280ml 10mg/5ml Liquid Temazepam script ( the stuff inside the eggs ) never dreamt off shooting it the consistency is that of fairy liquid it also looks like that as well.

we had some methadone powder once can't remember what became of it i was more interested in the other stuff in the box

Methadone powder can be stronger than you think. If you come into any, be careful to calculate your dose properly; when we lucked into a jar way back, one fella made the mistake of putting as much powder in his spoon as he would have done with b. When he regained consciousness some hours later, it was calculated he'd taken the equivalent of 40 ten mg amps and only a fair tolerance and a hardy constitution allowed him to survive the experience. I've known people who've shot the syrup using 10ml barrels but all were essentially lunatics. To be avoided.

Yeah we were aware of the potency n potential for danger. Fuk they were good days that was only 20 or so years back as well .

So anyway i have got some gear , something that has been quite hard of late due to Police interference . I'm happy with it @ £35 for .6 .
