Regional Heroin Discussion v. Sweet Sixteen (v16)

If anyone remembers me from the drought (JayRiddley), hola.

All want to know is, when i go back to UK is the gear back to normal?
 
like max said depends on who you know, still plenty of good stuff but you wont find it with shotters- you need to have a good connect, for me in london its all asian firms now where it use to be black guys getting it from turks. Im getting proper food like it was pd but its 10 a point or £100p/g but at least its quality which i'll take over quantity every tme. shotters in hackney will do x2 for 15 but its crap.
Ive had to go back to another fella as my main guy has quit and he has good but rips you off (spent 100 and got .8 yesterday) so its become a luxury item but i have a feeling things will change when we start bringing back all our troops.
 
I give up, whenever i indulge its always shite lol. Just realised aswel, i havnt eaten for a few days and the idea of food repluses me, apart from that & a bit achey got no other signs of a rattle, stopped taking meth on tues after a farily short stint but dont feel too bad at all, not like i have before when proper withdrawing. Hard to discern when ya just ill sometimes lol, signs of a mini meth rattle? or just a bug or whatever

im finding the quality has gone up a good bit these last few weeks.. the 2 people i can weight off both have stuff that while not as good as 08 - 09 its not 2 far off either.. 300 4 a quater..
 
I've ended up scoring in Liverpool at the mo. the lad who I usually score of has thought he was Pablo Smackaba and has been spending his money like no ones business. This has led to him owing for a oz every time and the other day he had danced all over the gear. I had it out with him and told him I ain't buying shit that I KNOW he has fucked with so in a strop he told me to go a score of my scouse mates. It was the best bit of advise he has ever gave me cos last night I had a hit and was scratching for 5 mins after followed by the best gouch for months.
 
I can't speak for anyone else but I certainly haven't heard of any of the heroin addicts I know injecting meph.
I only live in a small town so don't know what its like in the cities.
 
AHHHHHHHHH!!!! FFS!!! I went to the chemist to collect my weekly methadone script but the fucker in the chemist wouldn't give it to me!!!!!! :X

I should have collected my script yesterday but i missed the chemist coz I was working. This often happens to me so usually I just go to the chemist the next day to collect it instead & in ALL these years that has NEVER been a problem!!! BUT there was a new pharmacist on to-day and he wouldn't give me my methadone coz I was a day late!!!!

I even asked him to just give me to-days dose supervised but he wouldn't. He just kept pointing at my script and saying "your script says Friday" I explained that I'd been with that chemist for years and they understood that I worked, but he kept saying NO! He wouldn't give my Boyfriend his script either, I thought Mr. Ructons was gonna punch the bloke, but we both kept calm and tried to appeal to the guys better nature. I was in withdrawals & I told him that, he told me to come back Monday with a new script from my Doctor! I asked him what were we meant to do for the weekend? He said he doesn't know! I told him that I have no choice but to use heroin now for the weekend, but he just kept pointing at my script saying "its says Friday" AH-AAAAAAAAAA!!! The bastard just wouldn't give me my medication!!! What a wanker!!!!!!!!!

Luckily we have some methadone stashed away at home for emergency, but my BF & I need 60mls each to-day & the same tomorrow, so we need 240mls to get through the weekend. But We only have 180mls stashed. So we'll have to take less. I've been doing really well at staying away from gear, its about a month since I last scored. But this is nearly pushing me over the edge! I'm gonna try get by on a lower dose of methadone. That new pharmacist is such a prick.

ColourfulKronos & Endless thanx from the info on Lyrica, I wish I had some now!!!!

Mailmonkey, What is mephedrone like? Coz if it was like gear I'd try it! I've been looking for an alternative to heroin since this drought started two years ago!

I'm not into opiates, i love stims.

i love meph.

I can't imagine a smack user would turn from H to meph.

A smack user who likes crack might though.

What a wanker that pharmacist is. My doctor writes on my script that if I miss picking up one day I can collect the next day and they just don't give me the dose of the day I missed.
Well done on your month without scoring that's fucking brilliant,shows that you can do it.
You have still got a decent bit of methadone its not much less than what you need and with its long half life,I guess you both will be ok until Monday hopefully.
Hope you are both ok till u collect your script, try not to use this as a reason to score.

you should be fine -your blood plasma level of methadone will be high enough to keep you for a minimum of 36-60 hours (i think you have been on it for months no?) any WD's you feel at the 24h mark are in yoir head - its to do with the 1/2 life of 'done and the daily dose e.g day 1 60mgs day 2 60mgs +30from the day before day3 60 +15 +30mgs (these are averaged out but you get the picture) BTW I dont know how you take it but dont split the dose its much more effective in one dose.
I remember being on day 3 of having nothing and thinking id cracked it, that night.....well you can imagine.

So dont fret you will wind yer self up you have some any way so just take your normal dose (60) when/if the wd;s start.
Honestly you will be fine.

Oh god, I'm sorry to hear about that ructs. I've been getting by with codeine and havent scored at all in a couple of days. Tomorrow will be my third.

Mephedrone is a stimulant RC but a good number of the homeless people around here have developed a huge dual habit of injecting both it and smack, though whither or not its at the same time I dont know. Its had ravenous affects on the body of one particular girl I know, causing the skin on her legs to blister, peel and ooze puss and all sorts of awfulness.

Any stimulant I try only sets always sets my smack sickness off prematurely, so I dont go there. Even if they didnt, I still wouldnt go there.

Nah no chance, other way round for me, cant stand uppers these days but i friggin love my downers, jesus shooting h and meph? that'd be horrible its not called m-crack round here for nothing, its almost as fiendish. & it makes you stink, comes out of your skin ugh
 
@ructions, if its a blue script your on I'm sure somewhere on it that it says if you miss a days pick up you can pick up the next day minus the day you missed's dose. My chemist has always done that

What it's done to this poor girl is shocking. I don't see her much these days, but the last time I did she looked like a malnourished boy of about 12-14 on account of the weight she lost. It was quite a shock when she ran up to hug me, I thought I was about to be mugged as I couldnt but a face to the name, nor a gender to the frame as any remnant of feminine physique had left.

Fuck man...just found out yesterday that my best buddy who I havent seen in a few weeks has been in hospital for the last five days with what his brother claims is "some sort of blood infection". I know he has an inactive form of Hep-C...I dread to think whats the matter. Feel like a right cunt for not going down to visit - kicking here at the moment but I will on Monday when I get a little methadone. Oh the guilt.
 
Normally my chemist lets me pick up any day, they know I work weird hours and their not bothered either way. Sure back I when I was using gear daily I'd go into the chemist two or three days late & they didn't care, they just gave me my methadone minus the doses that I missed. But the new bollox that was there to-day is just a stupid bollox!

I know that W.D's after 24 hours are probably in the head, but I normally start getting mild WD's after 18 to 19 hours. My Doctor is always trying to up my dose, but I don't want to go above 60mls. I was due to take my methadone at 6pm but I held on till 11pm. FFS I felt rough! I took 45mls but I reckon I'll feel it tomorrow. But at least I had some methadone!!! I'd have been in a right state now if I didn't have my emergency stash!!!

I think all heroin users keep an emergency stash of methadone, you just never know when you'll need it. Once you've experience heroin withdrawal you will do ANYTHING to avoid it again! Who ever said that heroin withdrawal feels like the flu??? That is like comparing getting your arm ripped off by a bear to a grazed elbow. In the past when I went a few days into WD's with no gear & no methadone I just curled up & died. I couldn't walk or talk, i just whimpered & shook. The pain is unbearable!!! Its like been in a living nightmare! THE FLU MY ARSE!!!!

So I'm very lucky that I had a stash, otherwise it would be a very different story! I just hate the way heron addicts are treated! I bet every other fucker got their medication in that chemist to-day, everyone except for the junkies! :! GURrrrrr.....!!! I more annoyed about that then anything else....

OK that is it, no more moaning from me! <3
