I added Lyrica to my daily dose of Cymbalta just before I cold-turkey'd off the lot back in 2009 in favour of Heroin instead. Theres no harm in giving it a bash Ructs, but do be aware that its just as addictive as heroin and almost as difficult to get off. Cymbalta in particular was hell to get off; falling short of being as difficult as heroin only because you dont crave it after you're done. If you've been feeling anxious it could work wonders for you (I never gave it much of a chance as I'd lost the little faith I ever had in psychiactric medications after my nineth attempt).
I overdid it during the week with the gear again after doing so well with my methadone taper the week before - so I'm putting in an order for 120mls this monday and doing the rapid detox/taper again. Overall though, I've been doing very well - at least comparitively. Gone are the days of having to pay out every penny of my weekly income within a matter of minutes of receipt.
As expected, when I'm off the gear I'm a miserable sod - but lets face it, I'll never recover while I'm using. If I thought I'd never recover regardless of using or not then I'd just continue masking the symptoms with as controlled a regieme of usage as possible - but I feel confident enough in my character now to know that if I can just abstain for a few weeks and bear the depression my situation might brighten up.
As strange as it might seem to some, I'm delighted that it's been sickening me to have to buy a bag every other day over the last week to keep withdrawals at bay - because I'm sick of the shit. Terrified of the depression that's awaiting me from tomorrow onwards but fuck this lifestyle. When monday rolls around, its either methadone or cold-turkey. A diazepam script awaits me Wedensday next, however I find that valium doesnt have anywhere near its expected effects while I'm enduring cold-turkey as it would were I over the peak of it all. Has anyone else encountered anything like this?
So - two types of product have been on the local market of late - both beige but one is bashed up crap of which one has to burn away most of to rid of the god awful cut, but the other is decent enough and of everything I've tried (excluding the tester I got in rock form about a fortnight ago) its the best around.
Hope all is well with folks - I'll no doubt be hovering around in the background as is the usual situation when I'm kicking, but I'll post occasionally on how the taper is going. Ugh...here we go.

I had my appointment with the psychiatrist to-day. He says I have some sort of dual anxiety disorder (I really should have written down what he said coz I can't remember if that is exactly what he called it? Dual something?!)
