Quite possibly, I know that the Turks had gangs busted at the higher tier, actually in Turkey, which many myself included, think was a major cause of the drought. Any idea what that program you watched was?

Just smoked the tube from the gear I had today, got a decent smoke off it, it looked and smelled just as it should in the tooter, and after smoking that I got another couple of lines off the 2nd tube; thats always a good sign of decent kit imo, not to mention the fact I feel a little bit sick, nice! I'll see how long it holds me for

Ah bollox!!! :( I've been keeping my head down for the last week, so i've been really looking forward to scoring on Friday! But it looks like i'm just gonna waste more money on bash! :(

BC007 if you can't get good gear then no one can! I could really do with a decent smoke! I have been in really really BAD pain with tooth ache for the last few weeks! I gave in & went to the dentist to-day, he took out two of my back teeth! I'm really pissed off that the teeth had to come out :( But at least the pain has gone! Well my mouth is still numb from the injection, so i hope the pain doesn't kick back in when that injection wears off!!! I've been taking bucket loads of pain killers for the last few weeks but none of them worked! I'm sick of not been able to take codeine for pain, well i could have taken codeine but then i'd fail my drugs test on Friday. I really don't want any-more fails!!!

So i'll be testing the waters on Friday either way, i can't believe that i still score even though i know that the gear is gonna be crap! But at least i don't use every day any-more! I only use for about 4 days out of every 2 weeks, although i'm extra broke this week so i'll probably only score once or twice at the most this weekend! I'd kill for a bit of decent gear! If it wasn't for my two kids i'd deffo order gear off that ebay type site that is selling drugs!!! But i just couldn't risk getting something posted to the gaf, what would i tell the kids if the garda knocked on the door! They are both young adults, so there would be no pulling the wool over their eyes! So i'll just have to stick to scoring bash this weekend! FFS!!!!! :!

Absolutely sickening. The good gear always seems to be around when I don't have the money. I genuinely believed purity would continue to increase and that it would reach pre-drought levels by the end if the year. No such luck!

We brits fucking love shit drugs! From the days when people I knew would actively seek out soap bar hash (n preference to nice weed), which had bits of plastic in it from where it had been cut & repressed with shite so many times, to the days of 50p Mitsubishi pills, which didnt contain any MDMA whatsoever, to the current trend of 1% or less "heroin", which people can inject into themselves if they're quick enough before it congeals, and pass their drugs test the next day cos it aint even gear! :|

I scored two 50 bags of the off white stuff in Dublin. Near to PD quality. The third bag was usual pish. Time for another break methinks. At least I got my methadone script all sorted this week and wont have to resort to bash to be able to go to work.

Hi Tryp! :) Glad to hear that your getting things sorted for yourself! Going on a methadone script is a big decision & one i'm sure that you gave a lot of thought to. Methadone can really help, it takes the stress & expense away! I hope it goes well for you, it takes a while to adjust to methadone but once you do you'll be flying! Best of luck with it! :)

Unless you want to be on methadone for years possibly for life you should seriously consider a detox on it - can be done easily and painlessly in a matter of weeks. However if its to get thro' patches of being unable to score and you have no intention of giving up....then go for it.
 
Hey Ructs, you have got me really addicted to the book tweak per your previous recommendation. Good to read about familiar streets and places both from my using days and hanging in the City. Not a bad portrayal of the crystal meth/ gear scene. Anyway, thanks for the recommendation!
 
Only six posts yesterday - looks like this thread is finally winding down. Maybe have a roll call to see who still lurks but gave up posting?

BTW was asked to write for a blog and am just putting a tale together will put a link up soon. I am going to do my second piece on the drought so watch this space
 
Been off the gear for last few weeks and intend to carry on staying off it.
Have still been reading all the posts on here but just not posted in here myself since stopping the gear.

Full blown daily habit for about 11 years or so. Was spending over £200 a week on the gear.
Not stopped cold turkey though as have been on script for about 7 years I guess. Couldn't stop without the methadone

Hi Jspun! :) Yeah 'tweak' is a great book! The first time i read it i was going through a very chaotic time in my life so i could really relate to the book. I rarely read a book more then once, but 2 years later i read Tweak again & it was even better the second time!

Yeah i reckoned you would recognize a lot of places in the book. Nic Sheff comes across as a really nice guy! I saw an interview with him & he was talking about how well the sale of his book went, then suddenly he relapsed on heroin & crystal again. He said it was very hard to deal with the media pulling him apart for been strung out again, but as far as i know he got off all the drugs again. There are a few interviews with him on you-tube. He is a real nerdy looking guy, but he is very likeable & he is a great writer.

His Dad David Sheff has a book out as well called 'Beautiful Boy' He writes about dealing with a Son on drugs, i haven't read it so i don't know what its like? I'd say Tweak is better though! ;)

@ Tryptamite good for you to mate, methadone basically enabled me to have a life worth living, as Ive said before I cant knock it. Its just down to you and making it work for you

Goin out to score in a bit might weigh his bags this time cos theres no fuckin way he does, some of 'em look twice the size of others! Good thing is though all of them look at least .2's, its pretty decent tackle and its 2 for £15. Beginning to worry a bit tho now I've found a local dealer that I may of dropped a bollock. I'll have to be self controlled managed to not score yeaterday. Things slow on the forum?
 
just got 1.2g for the w/e just need to get a couple of stones and im set for a sweet sunday with the house to myself. the white is cheap .2 for a tenner but weak so just snap em in half and get 2 pipes instead of 4
