Regarding My Unemployed and Possibly Disabled Younger Brother

Here's a message for you Simply_Live: if you don't appease us with gifts, we'll just rob your ass.

Your brother has friends AND a drug dealer? Whoa.....

I have succsesfully gotten into a relationship first with a (indian/pakastani?) Psychiatrist and then after a period of 8 months living in an adult mental health group home started to recieve SSI. ( my psyche never even decided to label me with a diagnosis from his copy of the new dsm!! )

If you want your bro to BE disabled and cash out large, then get him hooked up with a social worker. One that wants to earn her pay and will drive him to and from the psyches office and a drug store to fill the scripts also.

Be sure to explain to the psyche and other mental health professionals that "you love yer brother, and want him to recieve the help he needs" Do a little research ( google and browse the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual ) and then prepare your brother on what to say he is experiencing to the psychiatrist AS hes in front of him. It is not that hard. I have recieved SSI cash benefits for 5 years now. A mental health professional coached me in her car before I went in to speak with the Dr that granted me SSI.............I am not scum........Everyone wins in a situation simular to mine, you included.

I recieve $686 from SSI. $200 in food stamps and somewheres around $500 from HUD a month!!! Thats $1386 a month. $16632 a year.

Tell yer fuckin bro its time to check outta being a no-money-bum and start his trek on the way to Easy Street USA

Psychiatrists are evil, their psuedoscience is fake, and mental health is the worst joke ever. But.................I hit up a psyche for a diagnosis and now I get paid.
The best way to get on ssi is to start seeing a psyche for scripts and then get into a mental health group home. The group home personal have 678% more power and sway than a normal person does. Thats alot.........quite alot.

so you want him to mooch off the govt (and taxpayers) instead of his family?

wah wah you think I dont have mental issues? Doesnt mean I dont work 40 hrs a week

get a job grouch

What the fuck do you want your tax dollars spent on, shimazu, if not to help raise the standard of living for mentally ill people and their burdened families? More money for the military?

SSI exists for a reason; if at all eligible, every citizen should take advantage of any and all government benefits available.

If we had less taxes, don't you think we should reduce military and law enforcement budgets before reduce government assistance for the poor and mentally ill?

Here's a message, Coolio: you're gonna keep robbing people regardless of these gifts. Most of the people I know with food stamps / other assistance think it's owed to them anyway. And they still steal.

If we had less taxes, don't you think we should reduce military and law enforcement budgets before reduce government assistance for the poor and mentally ill?

"Poor" and "mentally ill" are very vague terms. You are thinking "bums out on the street otherwise" and "psychologically unable to hold a job position". I am thinking "don't portion their money out right" and "boo hoo, I'm depressed".

"Boo hoo, I'm depressed"? The fuck is that supposed to mean?

There are more than enough resources for everyone on earth. There's no reason to deny anyone basics like housing, education, food, etc. just because they are too lazy or stupid to hold a job. Everyone deserves a free ride through life nowdays... thanks to the hard work of our ancestors. Most peoples' jobs are pointless wastes of time now.

^ I'll repeat: no one owes you, me or anyone else anything. Just because our ancestors worked hard doesn't mean WE deserve a "free ride".

Also, "boo hoo, I'm depressed" is used to insinuate the mass amounts of people who are just too lazy to do something about it. A free ride is not free. It comes with consequences and a lack of freedom, which I personally pinpoint where most of the depression comes from.

However, I do agree that jobs are pointless these days. It really does feel like we're doing absolutely nothing. That doesn't mean we deserve a free ride through life, though. It means we can just live honestly and try to enjoy ourselves instead of lathering the "I hate my life" shampoo all over our heads.

It's time to wake up! Be the best you can be and make the most of YOUR life. You're not making the most of your life by taking that "free ride". You're going down the wrong path with that attitude.
