Stimulants Recreational value of dexamphetamine?

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if you feel that dexamphetamine has any recreational value, and what a good dose would be for someone with a moderate tolerance?

Yes it does have recreational value. Dosage rec's are tough especially when tolerance is involved. start with 20mgs (if you got a healthy heart and all) and maybe add 10 every 45 minutes as neccessary.

I know not dosing all at once isnt your ideal experience most likely....but until you are familiar with the drug and how your body responds.

Dexamphetamine is a step above adderrall as adderrall is a mix of the D (Dex I believe) and L amphetamine isomers and the L aint shit compared to the D (recreationally, that is reductionist I am sure)

For myself, I don't really like it much. It easily becomes too jittery without any euphoria. Taking more has always made it worse for me ( bad memories of that!) All the same, if I have some boring physical chore to get done, it's a decent way to steamroll through. But to feel good, I prefer ritalin

Isn’t this a relatively low dose? I read on TripSit that 80–125+ mg of Adderall is considered a high dose. If you were to convert that mathematically to the active ingredient, dextroamphetamine, would that be equivalent to around 60–93.75 mg of dexamphetamine, if I’m understanding it correctly?


I want to make sure I get the dosage right so I don’t end up having a bad experience. I also have plenty of experience with it.

Ritalin (Methylphenidate) 50-70mg IR + Methadone 100mg has been my morning Speedball for 20+ years (plus benzodiazepine, Gabapentinoid, Ethanol, Nicotine) …..Ritalin gave me VERY robust euphoric bliss when I started taking it…..same euphoric bliss as Opoioids (especially Oxycodone)

Oxycodone or Diamorphine/Dilaudid mixed with Dexedrine/Adderall/Ritalin/Desoxyn is the most euphoric combination pharmacology has even seen……endorphines & monoamines DAT/NET/SERT = Euphoric bliss

People have always loved their Amphetamines…..Ritalin is my personal favourite

Cocaine
Benzphetamine (pro-drug, metabolizes into d-Meth, then into d-Amph)
Pemoline


Benzphetamine (Didrex) is still prescribed for obesity & narcolepsy……it’s essentially Desoxyn (Methylphenidate) but with a lower scheduling SCIII ……Didrex in-vivo metabolizes into d-Methamphetamine and further into d-Amphetamine. Some doctors might hear Didrex and not feel same stigmatized status as Desoxyn (d-Meth)

Adderall 30mg XR is great
Dexedrine Spansule 15mg are great whole or pulverized into IR powder (like Adderall XR beads)
Ritalin & Focalin are excellent dopaminergic stimulants capable of inducing strong euphoria
Desoxyn while available, is rarely prescribed as its Desoxyephedrine HCL (d-Methamphetamine) and most prescribers would opt for Dexedrine, Vyvanse, Adderall, Ritalin etc

I LOVE the onset & C-Max of my Methylphenidate IR 50-70mg in combination with my Methadone as it’s Ohhh Sooo Pleasurable and just pure sex inside my CNS

I have ADHD and get prescribed 2 x 10mg doses of dexamphetamine daily.

I have never found it recreational but simply a tool to make me get out of bed and concentrate on my job.

but my friends who don't have it get high off it. even when I didn't have a tolerance it never really use to get me high - just able to function.

Tbh I've only really ever used it when I needed to stay up all night doing assignments and during exams. So my experience is from a few years ago

I'd say you can use it recreationally but I've found most value in it through cramming learning
