Recreational starting methadone dosage

Hey.I have been on methadone for 16 months now and my daily dose is 100mg.I think 10-15 would be a good start.Once you get used to it a good way to make it last longer is to take a Tagamet 1 hour b4 u take the methadone.Believe me it does work.Anyhow,hope this helps out
 
If you've taken a relatively decent dose of oxycodone or hydrocodone, I'd take at least ten, maybe 15. How much is a high dose of oxycodone anyway? Depending on how high I'd even go with 20 if you want a good strong buzz.

I have done a lot of opiates, all different kinds, and had a very serious habit and I've always found methadone to feel great. its definitely recreational to me!
 
I'm still going to stick with 5mg. If it's not strong enough I'll take 10mg 2 days later. My highest oxycodone dose was 30mg and I was high as fuck. Pleasantly high, but high as fuck nonetheless.
 
I think that's a wise idea. Stick to the 5, wait for 2 hours to feel its effects. If its not what you've expected then I suggest waiting longer as you've taken phenazepam too, bear in mind that that drugs half life is ridiculously long.
 
Many years ago when I was fairly opiate naive, I took 10 mg, felt high for like 12 hours and I did like the high at thetime. Long road since then.
 
Just wanted to update. Decided to go with 10mg as I plugged 15mg of hydrocodone yesterday. Dosed the methadone about 3 hours ago, orally. Feeling great, nodding pretty good. Feels pretty damn similar to the hydrocodone I did last night, just stronger with more sedation and euphoria.

Well methadone was my first real opiate experience and i had 12mg's on my first time not realising it takes a good 2 hours to peak. I was so heavily stoned i was scared to fall asleep and woke up fucked the next day and spent the next day throwing up everything i ate haha. Nausea really is the only problem although it didn't bother me, 5mg i'd consider light, safe and shouldn't be to much nausea. I reckon constipation or concrete shit is worse, fucking hurts. I find the euphoria short lived, but gives a nice nod for long after the peak. I find methadone can get me through the most stressful situations which makes it very addictive for me.
 
I don't experience nausea with any drug I take.... ever. Still high on the methadone and haven't had any problems.

I'm probably going to plug it next time I dose.

When i was in high school i took a big piece of a morphine patch and chewed it, unknown dosage. Anyway it was so strong that i was hallucinating and it gave me flu like symtoms for a few days after/verge of puking. Don't think it was necessarily withdrawal but it definitely made me sick for a long time.
 
I've always found methadone quite enjoyable even when I was in the height of my heroin addiction. It has always made me feel very motivated and full of life. Infact I feel like I couldn't fully appreciate methadone untill I was addicted to strong opiates because it would do nothing but make me sick as dog when I was opiate naive but as an addict u get this amazing shift to a feeling of clean normalcy which I feel is quite a bit of a high on its own when your hooked on junk
