Recommendations for TripTunez- The One and Only! [Applies to all drugs]

I swear we had a drugs + electronic music thread already.... I will check...

I just don't want more threads popping up... like E+EDM, MKAT+EDM, LSD+ EDM, you know... anyone mind if I change this to the DRUGS + EMD thread, or even just STIMULANTS+EDM thread?

These artists/albums I find myself listening to quite often while tripping.

Telefon Tel Aviv - Fahrenheit Fair Enough

Solar Fields - Leaving Home (This is my DMT soundtrack)
Solar Fields - Extended
Clark - Totems Flare
Black Moth Super Rainbow (Very cool stuff, listen if you haven't heard of them)
Tobacco (Solo project from Black Moth)
Boards of Canada (Great downtempo for coming down)
Lemon Jelly - Lost Horizons (Nice happy tunes for coming up and down)
Ulrich Schnauss - Far Away Trains Passing By
Ratatat - LP3 and LP4 (Really good stuff here too, worth a listen)

Cant forget the emerging genre of Chillwave/Glo-Fi, excellent for any time during the trip, but best during the comedown.
Neon Indian - Psychic Chasms
Memory Tapes
Toro Y Moi - Causers Of This

And anything with a good 4 to the floor house beat to dance to for MDxx or stimulants e.g.
Deadmau5 - 4x4=12 (Progressive Electro House)
Ogris Debris
Paul Kalkbrenner - Berlin Calling
Mark Farina

Lots more suggestions where that all came from so let us know what you like!

On a side note..

Ahh! Bigelf is so excellent, great to see someone else that actually knows them. They bought me and a friend 2 seats at Merriweather Post Pavillion just for being active on their fancorps site.

Coil. A great band to trip, and their albums are all so unique. Some people may find it a bit frightening though, as their music is very dark and deals with themes that may be too difficult for some psychonauts. My favorite albums from them are Love's Secret Domain, Musick To Play In The Dark (both volumes), Horse Rotovator, Astral Disaster, and Unnatural History.

A few tracks:

Great song to trip someone out to

Chemical Brothers- Escape Velocity

1. in the first 1min, have the tripper lay down in a dark room, looking up at the ceiling, have some kind of light projected on the ceiling( i use a pool light show thing). tell the tripper to stare at the light on the ceiling, telling them they are in line, getting into a cart at space mountain in Disney land

2. 1:00-1:30 tell them the car is now moving up its tracks, ascending through a multicolor dar tunnel, progressing in speed,

3. 1:30-2.00 the ride is shooting though time and space, further progressing in speed and compressing to some infinite point, like a rip in time and space or something

4. 1:59- the ride is over, everyone is not getting out of the cart.

Repeat for each time is does this

it helps to know space mountain too. lol

it works tho man, you feel it pushing you back like a G force right begore the release at 1:59.

I've listened to that song many times while tripping. I like listening to Snow, because it transitions into Escape Velocity. It's amazing because of the simple lyrics...Your love keeps lifting me...your love keeps lifting me...lifting me higher...lifting me higher...

I always feel like the song is lifting me higher.

Listen to We Love Animals by Crookers.

What's good Dubstep to listen to while tripping?

I was wondering what kind of dubstep you guys like to listen to when you're tripping. I personally love NiT GriT.
