Good film, reminds me of me ;)

^ What film is it? "The Call Centre Strikes Back"? "One Flew Over The Call Centre"? "Lethal Call Centre II"?

^ LOL LOL LOL. :D

Bout time someone put the wee call centre monkey back in his place Kid. :D

Did you actually watch daywatch first?

Lovefilm sent it first so I stuck it on, I remember almost nothing about it though. :\

Would also like to see the Russian original edit of Nightwatch if that's not what I've already seen, it was a great film. It took me forever to get the fucking subtitles on though, pressing the English subtitle 'button' on screen several times did nowt, I had to pick some 'hard of hearing' option in the end, I almost thought I was going to watch it dubbed :X. When the film first begins though the voiceover is in English and again at the end, then it cuts to Russian, why? :\

He won't like the Business regardless of trainers, chang or trackies, cuz it aint got subtitles.

I like The Business actually, decent enough Britflick. I actually don't mind Dany Dyer, no acting genius but works well in the parts he's cast. Anyone actually beleive he's a geezer though? Pretty sure it's all an act, he's a shitebag on those "Britains Hardest Gangs / Men / Towns / Pubs / Weddings" shows.

It was a nice reminder that your not some hot shot high flier as you seem to alude to but just a call centre monkey who has to put his hand up and ask for permission to piss.

Oh brokenbrain I watched this last night, despite all the promise for me it was 'fail'...

I couldn't get into it, dunno if the fact I was Xanax'd and receiving strange distracting text messages helped, or not.

Good film forums? Someone linked or PM'ed me one a while back that was quite indepth and good for foreign / world cinema but forget it now.

Can only find shite ones that focus mostly on Hollywood. :\

Film & Television on here is pretty poor for my tastes too.

EVERYTHING IN YOUR POST IS INCORRECT

THIS IS NOT ART

opinions spadey baby, opinions

<3 ;)

When I see folk claiming Slumdog Millionaire is the best film they've ever seen, a work of art, genuis etc I can't help but just slate them for being idiots. Opinion is all well and good but when it's different from mines then it's wrong.

<3 ;)

watched MONSTERS BALL the other day and i thought it was pretty good, it was kinda hard to see if they were actually having sex or acting, halle berry didnt deserve an oscar for her role but it was a decent film, bout a 7/10

Argh, I hated that. Too bleak for my tastes, and I usually like depressing films. And yeah, Halle Berry definitely didn't deserve that award. It was a fluke I tells you.

Recently watched Rise of the Footsoldier at a mates house. It's based on a true story, focusing on the rise and fall of the ICF (Inner City Firm). The main character is Carlton Leach who starts out as a football hooligan for the firm. He then proceeds to become a bouncer in the 90's rave scene, knocking out E's to monged out punters. He then rises to become a profilic gangster, according to IMDB, one of the most feared and respected in the country.

It's a good film, lots of violence as you would expect but one of the best gangster orientated films i've seen.

Here's the IMDB link if anyone wants to check it out: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0901507/

Rise of the Footsoldier ranks up there in the top 10 worst films I've ever seen. It was absolutely dire and has nothing going for it. Carlton Leech is a nobody anyway, he made a name for himself after all the real gangsters were dead and couldn't dispute his claims that he was one of the boys. By all accounts he was just a lowly doorman that happened to work the doors and do some jobs for the Essex Boys, once they are dead he tries to make out he's someone he's not.

I've read a ton of British 'gangster' books and a lot of them say he's a nobody. Anyway the film is shite, AVOID at all costs folks. Even The Kid didn't like it. ;)

What's with the blatent Nescafe product placement in Nightwatch btw? I noticed it twice where the camera zooms in and focuses on a jar of it and then later a Nescafe mug. Forgot to mention it earlier.
