reaction time

Before you got to above mentioned site, just try http://www.dancesafe.org they stock the mecke reagent for 20 bux <includes shipping> or you can go for the more advance kits that include the simons reagent which can tell you <after a positive test with mecke> weather or not you have MDMA/MDE or MDA
The mecke reagent is much better than the marquis included with the ez test kits. Somtimes it is very hard to determine mdxx from DXM when using marquis

if i do get a test kit...what do i get?? there are so many, and i dunno whether it would be better to test for ketamine over some other substances..... i don't take that many pills, and i don't know what the best thing to test for is....
any advice?

Speaking of test kits, I just recently ordered one from dancesafe.org My wife and I have been doing this for about 1 1/2 years. I cant beleive it took me that long to get a kit. I always went to someone I trusted but thats no excuse. I should be smarter than that. Just for the piece of mind its worth the 35 bucks. Who knows maybee I can pass it on to my kids when they are old enough..(Just kidding)

*WORRIED*

I've eaten a few of these hearts that are going around, these are the good ones, and just tested one with a tester I just bought. The reaction was fizzing with smoke then a slow change in colour to purple through to black but over 60 or so seconds. These are great pills but some say that generally a slow reaction means weaker drugs???

You haven't read this thread have you? If you had you would have seen repeated a few times that the speed of the reaction has nothing to do with the strength of the pill. It is quite common for strong pills to have slow reactions. Remember it is the colour you are looking at not the time it takes.

Just because you missed it, here is Soma's great explanation:

  • There are too many variables when testing to deduce relative strength when testing pills. Such factors could include:
  • The composition and properites of the binders. - eg to they easily dissolve in acid, or fizz in acid etc
  • Inconsitancies in the MDMA/binder mix - ie one scraping of one part of the pill may contain more MDMA than a scraping from another part
  • The total volume of the pill - A weak reaction may still been a strong pill if the pill is of a very large volume, a strong reaction may not mean much at all if the pill is tiny.
  • The age of your tester.
  • Whether your tester has be stored correctly.
  • The temperature of your tester.
  • The temperature of the room.
  • The light conditions of the room.
  • The amount of sample you have scraped off
    etc
