Ok I was going to post this in the original thread but that got closed for whatever reason. This has become a serious issue in my life as of late. I posted a joke thread a couple months back about it when I was trolling, but there was an underlying problem I was too uncomfortable to admit. This issue is far too sensitive for me to bring up with anyone in the real world because of my obvious shame and guilt for having these feelings towards teen girls. Problem is, I'm the type of person that conveys all their flaws in everything I do and say. People that don't even know me well already assume I'm some wierd drug-addicted pedophile. When it gets to the point when your own family doesn't trust you around your nephew, than that becomes a problem. Not that I have it out for young boys, or even young girls... just teenage girls. The fact that I'm almost 30 years old doesn't help either.
But I don't see why I'm singled out when it comes to these things. I'm a heterosexual male, so of course regardless of what age I am I'm going to be attracted to teen girls. With the advent of the internet and sites like Youtube and Stickam, its kinda hard not to notice these days. Obviously I would never act out on any of these feelings. But the more I indulge, the more guilty I feel after. For some reason I'm just not attracted to women my age, instead have an affimation towards older women or adolescent girls.
I think the worst part about it is that people can already assume these things about me just by talking to me, without obviously ever mentioning it. But it's something that I have no other outlet for when it comes to getting any kind of treatment or therapy to correct it.

Seriously, what should I do?
 
I'm not sure how young you mean. But just a point of technicallity, the age of majority and age of consent are not always the same. So it may be legal to be with a minor (below age of majority) who is above age of consent. i.e. Here in Canada, age of majority is 18. Age of consent, for all practical purposes, is 16. (18 for prostitution/pornography a couple things like that)

If your feelings are causing you social problems or personal distress, you might want to go see someone about it.

As practical matter, yeah Teen girls can be fucking cute, but the mind numbing drivel that tends to accompany people who have not matured and are only in the midst of basic education seems like it would make it not worth it, no?
 
Age of consent in some countries are lower while in some kind of high. Some are as low as 12 (which creeps me the fuck out) while in France its 15 to 16. Personally I like women that are around my age (mid twenties) but I can't say I've never looked at a 16 or 17 year old and thought damn I wish she was 18 lol. However as rangrz said...

Even in High school I thought most of the girls around me were fucking idiots (which is why I was so unpopular with the ladies in High school). I can't imagine girls that age have changed much in maturity now with all the Justin Bieber and Jonas Brothers that are being fed to them on a daily basis. I once worked with this girl that was just getting out of high school at a movie theater and she was quite cute. I remember once we went out for a smoke break together. We started talking about smoking pot. So I started telling her stories about Amsterdam and how great it is to be in a country where that shit is legal. After which she replied in sincere curiosity and ignorance "where is Amsterdam? In Canada?" To which I said "Yeah... sure Canada" As I put out my cig and walked away. Before she said that I had actually thought about asking her out. Suffice it to say after I quit that job I never saw her again.
 
In The Netherlands, age of consent was (still is?) 12. In France it's 15.
 
I've been attracted to girls like 14/15, but I don't do anything about it - if it was like constantly, and just very young like pre-pubescent - I'd probably kill myself, I have troubles controlling my sexual urges at times, so if I was in that situation, I'drather die than molest some kiddy & get persecuted for it, having it on my conscience.

Um being attracted to teenage girls is not paedophilia, nor is it unnatural, nor is it wrong.
Attaching an arbitrary age limit on when a teenager is ready to do what they've been already been doing all along, is silly.

If you can't do that or are too scared of the law, then get a just legal girl and dress her younger.

Or move to somewhere where it IS legal.

Recently a 30 year old man from America legally persued a sexual relationship with a 12 year old boy by crossing the border into Canada.

As for people seeing you as a pedophile, well that's got to be something your doing.
Are you spamming perves on their children, or talking about how hot their children are?

Oh and YouTube and other media haven't done anything, your desires are all you.

What are the laws in your country? What is the age of consent? Often times, it is legal for 18 and 19 year olds to have sex with 30 year olds. They are still teens. I'm not sure if you are attracted to people that age or really young, like 13 and 14.
If you are only attracted to younger girls like age 13 and 14, that can be difficult, I also would suggesting seeing someone about it. Someone else, who was able to get to know you, and also who knew more about the laws in your area, might be able to help you more.
 
Yeah, the reason I mentioned the split in my country on ages was just to demonstrate that age of majority is not always equal to age of consent.

rangrz's next protip: A big part of the youthful appearance is really mannerism/behaviour and aesthetic in clothing style. People can be quite hard to judge age on in the absence of these cues.(within reason! yeah 60yo is not the same as 16, but 20 can be hard to tell from 30) Are you perhaps just attracted to the aesthetic or such, and not age per say?
 
I don't know how anyone can stand being around a 16 year old girl for longer than 3 minutes. They annoy me just standing in line at the store. lol I have to keep my cool, because I was one of them back in the day. But, as rangrz said, I'm sure it's not about the conversation we're talkin' about here.
 
Yeah, I don't get the attraction to teens. They just don't look they are "done" yet...kinda unformed and not very cute. They all look the same to me too.
 
Teenage girls are just dumb and annoying... I'm 29 and I've alvays been after older ladies. I didn't even talk to girls in high school when I was a teen myself.

I dont mind a woman in her middle to upper ages. You can get a good convo out of them, they know great moves and some still look damn good. A good example that comes to my mind is Katey Segal :)

I just find that the younger the girl, the dumber they are (usually). I guess if I see a nice looking girl hanging out at a bus stop or walking past our house as we live near a school I will def. not pass up the opportunity to check her out, but its qwik and then I am onward with my day.

I did end up dating a 14 y.o girl when I moved to a new town in WI when I was 18. I had no clue she was that young, she told me she was 18. My roommate walked in on us being a bit intimate and he was like "Whoa!, dude, I gotta talk to ya."

Get up, walk into his room and he dropped the bombshell that she was only 14 as he had just spoke to her mom because her mom was looking for her daughter. Yup, I took her home ASAP after that. Only thing I told her is that I wish she would have been upfront with me in the beginning. Nobody likes being strung along like that. At least it never got much further than a few kisses and me holding her tight against me. Took me along time to forgive myself of that but my roommate helped by saying that neither of us knew, so there was not a whole lot I could have done, especially if she starts to "set the tone." Its hard to resist a girl who want s to have sex with you. She was pretty too. I still talk to her and have talked to her about it and she apologized and all that noise. I forgave her, shes 22 now. She also had a kid but she does still look good. But I am glad I am where I am at: Married, couple dogs, and a house to ourselves :)

Glad that nothing serious ever happened night a while ago or I would never ever be able to forgive myself.
 
Don't worry your not a pedophile, pedophile is when your attracted to girls under 12.
I don't think you have a issue, a lot of people are attracted to teen girls.
If you stop watching teen porn, and get a girlfriend thats a bit younger than u, you will stop thinking about it and it will go away.
Also since your attracted to older women, why not date them? Its safer than a underage girl, and they will love to be with a younger man.
 
I have hooked up with a few older women when my wife and I (we were bf/gf at the time) broke up with me when I was abusing alcohol alot. Thats How I knows what I knows. Was just caught off guard about that girl. She promised to never press charges tho but it would have been a hard case to prove anyway with as how far we actually got. It would be her word vs. Mine and my roommates. I still hung out with her a bit after that as she was actually pretty cool, easy to talk to and seemed a lot smarter than her age would suggest.

But like I said. My life for the most part is good. Just got to start cleaning myself up, get off the (unnecessary) drugs and keep aiming for sobriety :)

Yep theres a lot of 19 year old girls that look 14-15

One time I meet this girl, she was 22, but she looked 16. Physically theres not much different from 15 year and 23. Most girls are full developed by 14-15. Its just how they do there makeup and how they dress at 23 that makes them look different.

I think your problem is you haven't meet any attrative girls around your age. I notice a lot of girls that get older, they gain weight, wrinkes ets, and they don't take care of themself good, so they look bad. But younger girls are in shape, and look good.
 
I'd think there would be something wrong with you if you didn't find teenage girls attractive! How can they not be? They are newly matured (physically) and are full of energy, even if they may be a bit dim upstairs. Would you rather have a nice new car.. or a beaten up old one? However they can't give you the same thing that a more mature woman can give you. Get someone your own age :) ps: If you are truely wanting to change your mental associations in regards to sexual images in your head.. go 30 days without release, then create a new association replacing it with the mental association you do want (ie someone your age).

Lol, I agree with your comment completely.

But if I had an older car that I loved, I'd pay for a new paint and body work.

My girl is quite a bit younger than me, but it's inevitable that she will get a few dings as she gets older.
I have a savings fund to keep her looking as young as possible.
