another dog question...

why do dogs lick their assholes instead of just scratching them with a front paw?

Most dogs have an anatomy that would allow them to sit on their hind legs and scratch with a forepaw while still maintaining balance, so why do they choose to lick?

yea, its much cleaner to have shit in your mouth than on the hole it comes out of. LOL. oh well , theyre dogs.

They can do what they want but its fuckin nasty when they gotta do it making the most nazzty-ass, slurpy, slobbery, licking sounds when you tryina eat dinner or some shit.

I wanna have a dog prolly a pit or rotty, when i get my own place, but that mufuckas stayin OUTSIDE!!!!! i don need to think about the fact that my dogs' licked-til-the-noise-makes-me-wanna-strangle-him-but-still-poop-crusted-asshole was rubbing on the pillow on my couch that im sittin on. i aint one of those people who thinks dogs are their children or deserve a place on a chair that *I* sit on. fuuuuuck no. that damn things hair, spit, and all forms of pee, crap, and vomit are stayin the fuck out. LOL. dogs are cool for yards. not houses.

my girly dog is in heat right now and she wont stop lickin herself...and my boy puppy isnt sexually mature yet so he doesnt try to hump her but he cant stop licking her either. its DISGUSTING lol

Refrigeration gradually slows the molecular activity of monounsaturated oils (olive, peanut, avocado, macadamia, etc.) so they become firm and turn cloudy or opaque.
Does that really explain the opaqueness? Seems to me that just explains the solidity, which I already knew/understood.

i don't think they lick to scratch but rather to clean. they sit on the ground and drag their butt along to scratch it :D

When driving a car, why do some people accelerate full speed even when there is a red light ahead of them, then hit the slids at the last minute, causing me to spill my beverage?

lack of tissue on the blood bank organ.

^I have no idea what that means, sorry Judakiss?

I have a random question, when you grow a goatee, are you supposed to shave the bottom side of your chin, i.e. the the bit between the point of your chin and the neck? Or do you just shave your cheeks and make sure it's even. I haven't shaved for a while but want to look less like a homeless person in certain company for NYE.

Yes, it's due to the change. Cool temperatures cause the waxy esters in oil to solidify (as you've noticed) and the opaqueness is simply part of the process.

Because their saliva contains many useful bacteria, including ones which effectively take care of the e-coli, so yeah, they're just cleaning themselves.
