Does anyone use talc any more, thought is was supposed to cause instant death but it just took them 100 years to work it out



It's all a sage now anyway :)

I didn't actually. But am aware I should be. Always had a bit of a "thing" for talc - the silkysmoothyness of it and that talc smell in particular. Not bought any for ages. Thanks for the reminder. Will pick some up at the chemists when I pick me script up this week.
 
@ atm: use to include zinc I believe. hence why my Obsession talc got discontinued (fuckers!)

Johnson's baby talc is still very much in use tho ... talc is for baby stuffs mainly .. but there's nowt better than getting into a clean bed after a 2 hour bath at night and having a smooth body all talc'd and yummy.

[edit] bodies writhe better/easier with talc too ;p

This is most assuredly the case. I suspect that may also play into my special fondness for the stuff.

I have a hankering for talc now which has no chance of being fulfilled cos I really cannot be arsed to find some clean clothes (especially as most are currently in the process of being cleaned and thus soaking in the bath) and traipse down to see if they sell it at Co-Op. Would probably gather a few "looks" as a still somewhat moisty-looking fella, smelling faintly of cider and buying nowt but talcum powder too.

Ah well. Will be me special nextbathday treat to me.

@ MM yeah, considering I normally half choke at the thought of people submitting clips to youtube, this is the reverse of the normal shit, that being the current trend of peeps submitting stupid shit to tube, in order to make money from ad revenues and being the next pootube star
 
it's the editing, superb, I imagine they had to wade through an awful lot of dross to make this so cohesive, fantastic.
 
yeah, you're right. it's like a British take (and micro version) of Koyaanisqatsi, think that's what they're going for, esp given the soundtrack

Beautiful, beautiful morning around here. Though I'm convinced it'll turn to shit before twelve.

Still - not a bad start. Even took my scarf off, which is strictly a last resort.
 
You lucky fucker, it's still various shades of grey here, and of course it's still raining. Haven't seen a scrap of blue sky since I got back, ugh.
