Have we gone into why you hate anything that is or appears to be powerful, strong or successful? (white people, men, America, rich people) Personally I think it stems from feelings of inferiority and low self esteem, and a general need to protect your own ego.

Ha, thank you. :] I've actually been slightly tempted to have a Tufnell done in the past just for the sheer ridiculousness of it. Think I'm a bit too old to get away with that now though. I'd have to have a good excuse like a fancy dress party or something along those lines.

indeed we have. the terminology is negative (alpha/beta) and outdated ... and it's (partly) what I was alluding to with choosing to be submissive, despite being capable of being dominant

Indeed we live in a changing world, at a fast pace, traditional roles and skills have to adapt and bugger if you're male or female. Has totally fuck all to do with it these days. I'm well into my middle age and have already lived a d experienced this...
