In non-living room news, I think I may treat meself to a walk to the shop that's quite a long way away for me evening booze 'n' fags top-up today. Is actually the longest possible walk to have in this town without leaving this town. About 15 minutes each way which is at least a half marathon. Probably.

I should really have a bath first cos am all sticky and undoubtedly somewhat whiffy. Cos it's hot, see? And hot makes somewhat whiffy liquids seep from various bits of me. Still waiting for me washing to dry though so a dab of Febreeze behind the ears and hope for the best looks to be the way it's going 8)

I was recovering until the physio made me do exercises which have crippled me for two fucking days now!


I swear she has done it deliberately because she thinks I'm a pervert.
 
Muse broke through when I was still a sniffy indie scenester. I didn't like them and thought they were pretentious, while all the time I was listening to Suede. Figure that one out. 8)

I remember trying to convince some girls that Matt Bellamy was David Bellamy's son. The peak of our obnoxiousness towards Muse fans was when we'd encounter somebody we didn't much care for, I or one of my mates would adopt a snooty, condescending tone and ask "do you like Muse?", which would crack us all up. Horrible, but lots of speed and subcultural teenage tribalism bollocks were involved.

Seems silly now. Not that I'm going to start liking Muse anytime soon, but what nasty little pricks we were.

I said I needed to buy clothes, Knock. I've needed to buy clothes for the last few months but not gotten around to it yet so don't hold yer breath. Just yer nose if you happen to pass me on the way to the shop. Which is admittedly quite unlikely.

No chance of a pic of my front room for at least two reasons. Firstly, it is not a pretty site at all. I don't like seeing it for real so buggered if I'd post pics of it on here to see it elsewhere too. Secondly, and more fundamentally, I have no camera.

I did post a pic of it in the Second Opinion photography comp ages ago when it was more of a jumbly mess of quite interesting and cool stuff rather than just plain manky as it tends toward these days :\

The individual members of Muse actually think it's hilarious how everybody thinks they're pretentious. They sort of aim for pretension as a running joke now. They're just three blokes who started a band and got lucky, that's all they have ever claimed to be, tis silly.

Good for them I suppose. Though it can be a real tightrope when there's an audience of which some elements are all-too-ready to miss the joke. Not that I'd know, like.

ahhh, north devon too far for us, we stick to south hams, bantham, bigbury, wonwell (fucking beautiful but bit secret :sus:)...sometimes go teignmouth if we fancy a bit of seaside entertainment....

but today, the weather so beautifuul, me and me wife couldn't decide who'd be Des, so we all went down the allotmwnt and toook a few of our son's mates down, they made treehouses and fires and sharpened sticks and climbed trees, we sat on the pirate themed patio/decking area, listened to dancehall reggae, smoked weed, drank my new favourite cocktail (see what are you drinking thread ;) ), and i gubbed a couple of vallies...

great day, mioght try make beach tomorrow, me and missis will have to fight it out tonight to see who's gonna be Des.

PS, Muse are fucking wank

Its not just in your mind. Alcohol is a huge part of the culture here and the main reason for most of the crime here. I dont exactly enjoy Alcohol, but its the only thing available to me for the time being. The only thing I do like about it is that it makes me a lot more social but Cannabis does that just as well, if not better because I truly enjoy it.
