In my mind you buy all your clothes from M & S dunno why ?

I buy my boxers and socks from there. Other than that though just a pair of jeans, nikes or skate shoes and a nice t-shirt. If my nice t-shirts are dirty i'll just put on a £3 primark one lol.

I'm still wearing clothes that folks of my age aren't supposed to but fuk it.

I do have a couple of suits ( Weddings, Funerals n Court ) and some "smart clothes " but my wardrobe mainly consists of jeans, Tracy tops anything that's comfy and looks good.
I'm fortunate to have close relatives in the States ( Cali ) so i get fair bit Of Stussy stuff sent over .
For me Stussy use some of the best Californian cotton i still have T Shirts from 92.

Those stussy shirts are alright, i've got into buying Imaginary Foundation t-shirts a lot. They do a design where there are no seems which makes them really comfy.

I'm going to carry on wearing skinny jeans until it gets really embarrassing.

Luckily I can still carry them off better than most of these young blades with disproportionate limbs and that.

Some of my "nice" t-shirts are £3 Primark ones haha. I've actually got a cracker of a Snoop Dogg t-shirt that I got out of Primark, I would probably have thought nothing of paying £30 for it had it been in a different shop! I was well shocked to see it in Primark for about a 5er or so.

I dress the same as I did when I was about 21. Jeans, t-shirt, tracky top/hoody & trainers. I don't own any shirts, ties, shoes, or any shit like that. My mate's bird apparently thought I was 22 until very recently lol, fuck knows where she got that from, he's about 25 & I'm clearly not younger than him. She must have thought I've had a damn hard life haha.

Brimz - I'd be really interested to hear what you think of it once you've read it. You've obviously got a lot more real experience of that sort of scene than me. I kind of took most of what I read at face value, particularly the little interlude bits headed "Notes on an epidemic" (or something like that) where it breaks from the narrative of the story & just gives facts on the heroin & aids problems in Edinburgh

It's quite scary when he's writing about shooting galleries. There was limited access to needles so they'd rock round somewhere & all shoot up out of one big fuck off syringe, passing it round to the next person after you'd had your hit, completely oblivious to the dangers. I'd quite like to hear how much of it rings true to you & how much of it sounds like total bullshit.

Yeah the embarressment factor isn't linked to age so much as how thin you are really, is it? You could probably wear them til you retire if you stayed slim. I've always wondered what the current generations will look like once they're pensioners.

Yeah the gallery stuff is true mate shocking as it is .
Thats how H.i.V spread like a mutha fuka .
All because " It would be wrong to have needle exchanges as it would encourage Drug use:| "

I'm lucky as i said earlier i was part of the post Rave era smack epidemic . By that time some common sense had prevailed .

When i was up your way in Brigton it was much harder to get Harm Reduction advice / Practise than down south . I taught a few Glasgie Junkie's how not to fuk up their veins .

The smack was dynamite when i was up their though .

I love stussy stuff but most of their T shirts are about £35 these days. I think I have a slight t shirt addiction, there's just way too many cool designs out there that I can't resist buying. Don't own a shirt or suit or any of that shit either, keep it strictly casual.

MSB you are only 24? I thought about 44 the way you go on.

I'm 28 and have started to get rogue grey hairs, they started popping up about a year ago I think actually. When I cut my hair short it gets rid of them for a while.

EDIT: I'm not 28, I'm only 27! My birthday is later in the year. Not even 30, grey hair and my memories going. :|

You should read Skag Boys by Irvine Welsh. It's the prequel to Trainspotting & deals with how Renton etc became full blown junkies & also how Edinburgh was flooded with smack.

I was just why I'd never heard of that book but seems like it came out recently when I was in Thailand. I'll need to buy it, like Irvine Welsh's stuff.

You're but a youngster. I'm 27, or am I 28? I'm actually not sure, I've got the same problem as Danny. I need to think about it for a bit, which is worrying.

I'm relieved I'm not the only one with that issue :|

Quite a few of us in the 27/28 bracket :)

It seems that almost all of us in the 27/28 age bracket aren't sure whether we are 27 or 28 lol.

Aye Spade, it only came out recently. I just finished reading it. Thought it was quality, definitely worth getting. I'm now reading Trainspotting (for about the 20th time) & I'm gonna read Porno again once I'm finished.

Glue is one of my fav. Welsh books .

Have you read it ?

Aye man, I've read most of his stuff. Is Glue the one with Juice Terry? If it is then it's also one of my favourites, been a long time since I read it though.

I'm only 21 and I've found a few grey hairs, I'm ginger though so it's a bit less noticeable.

Surely you pray every morning for more ginger hairs to have turned grey? ;)

feeling quite nice after a few vallies n vodka, well deserved after a bit of a shit week, coulda been worse tho! not much on tonight, might chill. was tempted to have a few lines of MXE but havent done it for months... hmm

Juice Terry is proper .
Can't handle the fact that they don't have juice lorries & uses it as excuse when he has to sign on !!

Aye, that's his patter in the job centre init? Like, "What do you do?" ... "Aye, well I deliver juice, oan the lorries & that" hahaha. He sees it as his trade! Great character.

You read Porno? Juice makes an appearance in it.
