Yeah it des, I did it before christmas last year, went and told them in the bank, they totted up, took about a week to get the money back as it wasn't my bank's machine, so there was some convoluted system involved, but report it to the bank where the cash was "withdrawn" and to your own bank.

obviously won't work if some cunt was behind you and had your cash.
