As long as someone has either put some thought into the meaning or the aesthetics of a tattoo and is happy with it then that's all good. I may not like it but that's irrelevant really, it's not me who has it inked on my skin
I like your idea actually. I've got 3 tattoos currently - a butterflyesque design I'd been doodling all summer on the inside of my left ankle that reminds me of raving in a field with my mates, the smiley face Dave had on his leg on the inside of my other ankle (obvious what that's all about, best memorial tat ever 
) and the Sanskrit word for freedom on my right shoulder. Planning two oldskool swallows on my chest/front of my shoulders soon, and a huuuge backpiece by this guy when I can afford it :D
Should have put that in the tattoo thread, nevermind. How's everyone doing this eve? I need cider I think.

But aye, think I need cider too. Spent last night with someone I am very much in love with snuggling in bed and drinking vodka and that was all lovely, decamped to the sofa around 1pm today, fired up the laptop and found out I've missed a fucking essay deadline and ended up with like a three hour long panic attack. Forgot how shit they are. Sort of calmed down now with the help of her advice and two Nytol but still got the awful hangover/post love-in depression I always get![:\](https://bluelight.org/xf/BL_Images/Orig_Emoji/wrygrin.gif "wry grin :\")
Going to have a drink and make a plan, shouldn't have come home, should have stayed with her, my room is an absolute state and I can't concentrate for shit.

It's only the tourists with big caravans & slow drivers that cause dismay amongst us locals. There just isn't enough room on our little roads.

Awesome :D my parents are staying in a cottage but me and my sis have decided to gatecrash and camp for the week. It's the last week in July and I'd definitely be up for a meet! No caravans in sight honest
Whereabouts in Cornwall are you? I'm not too sure where my parents will be but usually not far from the Lizard as they love the coast around there. Kynance Cove maybe a cargo of contraband will wash up?

My pal has some decent tats. He knows a tat artist so gets a lot of them for free. He has a full sleeve and various others dotted about...
A couple of months back he was getting a new one done whilst very high and he thought it would be a good idea to get a tattoo of a fat bird with a bag on her head scribed onto his lower leg. - Do not decide on tattoo whilst high on drugs.

Hahaha, I've just been talking to folk on Facebook about where to go to get it done. Apparently all the good places round here are booked out for months but if it's just something small you can normally stoat in on a Saturday. Gonna see Magda at Subby on Friday night so I'll be bouncing in for this tattoo trying to pretend like I'm not still out from the night before lol.
Gonna phone a place tomorrow & see what they're shouting about Saturday. A mate got a tattoo of a mad indian style elephant thing on her foot done in there the other week & it's quality, quite intricate design as well so I'm sure they could handle some letters no bother.
I've wondered how this works. Do you not feel like a bit of a clown sitting waiting while he turns the engine off, gets out of the car himself, runs round to the other side & opens the door? Also, how does it first happen? Do you go to open the door & he turns round like "NO! You sit there & wait! I shall open it for you once I've ran round to the other side of the car!"

Not got much of an idea on the sleeve to be honest, sort of want to go all traditional with the pin up girls and what not, always liked that aesthetic. Going to wait til I get back home over summer and go to the place that did my last one and try sort something out Feeling better now, talked to the woman a bit, gonna spend weekend there, happy now but still massively stressed. So it goes, I guess!
