I don't plan on paying them anytime soon.

Just gonna close my current bank account and open a new one.
My shrink said they'll write em a letter to sort things out.

I should be able to pay it back without having more interest added @ a monthly rate I can afford.

Why are you all of a sudden bringing this back up when I'm fairly certain not so long ago you said you weren't worried about it?

Cause today was the 1st day I was due to pay them & my phone hasn't stopped ringing.

He doesn't sound particularly worried.

Indeed.

I've paid all my real life debts & that's my main priority.
Faceless organizations such as wonga are akin to a wasp in terms of menace/credibility.

Cornishman rockstar wasn't referring to you in his comment ;)

Me, worried, hahahahha, naaaaah...

and pontifex yeh, a wasp never changes its stripes :?

Ooo swimming sounds nice, however the pools will be full of screaming kids! You deserve yer pirate (lolz) eh, why not if you're off work. Good man letting the missus have a lie in %)

Ha, didn't go swimming, heeded your "ful of screaming kids" advice, and it's easter holidays and our area gets fucking mobbed with Brummies in Easter and summer hols. We'll go next week sometime instead.

Missis always gets the lie-in after a pirate party, she really doesn't cope well with little sleep, she NEEEDS 8 hours...I'm not being a good man, it's just easier for me if she has a lie-in as she wakes up happy rather than grumpy, but it doesn't bother me either way...

i got myself into quite a bit of trouble recently with payday loans, am out of it now thank god. At it's worst though ihad about 1300 quid in loans to pay back each month, so gradually tapered down and got a pension rebate from work. They can suck you in so easily though, it's dangerous.
I only started with them about 8 months ago when i couldn't afford more food with an 80 quid loan. then the next month i was allowed to borrow more, the almost present it as an overdraft facility :\ Didn't take too many drugged and drunken bad decisions to get the loans up to 1300 quid. Then it's just depressing trying to get out of it all, exhilarating when you are back to baseline though.

Don't hide from them, it will catch-up with you for sure

I spent all me late teens and 20's racking up overdrafts, credit cards, not paying utility bills etc....the fact that I had over 15 different addresses in that period, about 6 of them out of the UK made it very difficult to track me down, and I did get away with a lot of it...companies are far far better at finding you now and connecting you with old debts....

It's not worth it.

I finally finished paying off the ones I couldn't get out of about 7-8 years ago. Lesson learnt.

Fortunately then, there weren't so many cuntish companies only too "happy to help" unfortunate folks in debt.

Just feel like the weight of the world has been lifted. Apparently that bird who got hit the other night saw my pic on facebook said it was nothing to do with me so I've just had a couple messages applogising for the threats and asking where my mate lives, which obviously I dont know. Lucky escape this time still better keep my witts about me just incase

As for the payday loans sounds dodgy. Wonder what will happen, my mate owes wonga loads now and its been months since he took it out, do they take you to court or just send debt collectors?

I imagine they will keep adding penalty charges, then interest on the outstanding loan and the penalty charges, and probably the interest rate will be higher once you are in arrears anyway.....

They will make a lot of threats of debt collectors, hoping your mate will cough up just through fear.....

I guess in the end your mate will end up having to agree a small amount to pay back for many many years to come.

back then mailmonkey ibet the only 'happy to help' company was the local provident man, who i had some experience with too about 5 years ago

Yeah, people used to get in the shit with the provvy man, and also HP companies were the instant loan companies of the day....people buying massive VHS video recorders at hugely inflated prices, with massive rates of compound interest etc....

He's only 19 and owes about 5k between loans and the local coke dealer. Was talking about declaring bankrupcy lol.

I know 3-4 people who have taken more than 1 loan each of the provvy to different addresses and never paid a penny back, I would say if you've got a few addresses there you won't have too much to worry about.

The coke dealer wont be getting paid is probably the likely outcome there. When someone usually owes the coke dealer money its my mate and another boy who do the chasing up, so doubt anything will come of that. It was about 2 months ago nearly so I think if he was going to chase him up for he'd have done it by now. My mates basically saying he's not paying cos the guy went round to his folks house and jarred his mum for it (who promptly told him to fuck off selling drugs to her son lol). Some of the debts hes racked up with quick loans, phone companies etc though are pretty mad. I owe the bank about 5 ton and a couple of direct debits that had to be cancelled when I got sacked 2 weeks ago. If I stayed away from the pub for a while my finances really would be alot healthier

Told you last night Dan that remix (along with the original tune) is dire ;)

Good evening =D hope you've all had a good day n a good weekend. shite weather, time for some more game of thrones

Very, very nice man :)
Ooooph I love when that 2nd punchy beat comes in!
Sounds very lovely, production wise too! Bravo good sir.
.... Then the bass hit... Bra-fuckin-Vo!
p.s. To be honest, I was half expecting 220bpm Amen breaks =D
p.p.s. Thankyou for the dwld :)

My coke debt has only just been cleared after 9 months of hard work.

Glad it's behind me, and I didn't do it cause of any fear. I paid it purely out of respect.
When the dealer threatened me I said 'who do you think you are, the f*cking mafia'?

I then proceeded to try and calm them. Explaining they'd get every penny. But if they kept threatening me they wouldn't get a thing.
From then on it was all cool.
