^that lot are just calibrated differently, what they consider a hill, I'd consider a gentle slope, and a builder from Brecon would pronounce it dead level.

It's not the north pole! However I'd imagine the rain and wind on the west coast is worse than most of the rest of the UK.

Yeah I do, like I say, west Wales.

What you're on about is miserable hanging off the Pennines north-west slash-yer-wrists greyness and misery.

Come to Wales to see it bouncing off the roads two feet in the air. And I wouldn't have it any other way. I had that grey city shit in London. If its gonna rain, then fucking rain. Wales.
 
I lived just a short walk from the Menai Bridge for a while, so I know Welsh rain. It's fucking brutal but a skilled Manc can dodge between the droplets because we're used to thick sheets of drizzle.

You're right about the greyness and misery, though there's something lovely about monochrome after a while.

evening all. am totally knackered. think i have rendered christmas redundant, in the past 2 days i've doubled my number of non-holey pairs of jeans to 2, found reason number 176265342 why physics is absolutely awesome (prob skip the first minute), and discovered the coolest street art i've ever seen:

That's beautiful! Its inspired me to dress some of the trees in my garden up... if they're ok with that. I might use ribbons or strips of multicolour rags though.
