Im blessed to have frugal taste buds when it comes to coffee then.. I prefer instant coffee and cant tell the difference between happy shopper and Nescafe.

Coffee has to be from an espresso machine, with the correct beans, ground to the correct consitency (according to my scale of acceptability), served with sugar and highly frothed milk standing proud like a souffle!

Drunk with the little finger stiff and extended, perchance? ;)

My expresso making machine finally broke on me today, but my friend taught me how to make coffee in a saucepan without having to use a cafetiere. Basically, you just put one scoop per cup of proper coffee into a saucepan full of water, bring to the boil, simmer and strain through a tea strainer then voila, job done. I still want a glass Cafetiere though.

I only ever buy fair trade coffee. Cafe direct to be precise.

cafetieres are a bit shit tbh, specially if you're used to proper creamy textured espressos.

My dear Monkey, the money I save by purchasing cheap coffee keeps me in quality picks for my Harp glissando's when I play in the Windsor orchestra.

I do agree although I am unable to have such a machine because I turn into a total caffeine addict (I actually threw an espresso machine away years back ), have you tried that new Kenco Millicano stuf, its on special offer every where because they obviously pitched the price way to high, it probably the best instant I've had.

I do absolutely love a proper espresso but most places serve utter shite that's little more than mildly strong coffee at best, I don't mind a cappuccino but you really shouldn't drink one after 11am, having spent time in Italy and never order one after a meal, if you want to fit in with Italian tradition, if not fek em and drink what you like.

Adding sugar is sacrilege IMO but again if you like it fek my opinion and drink as you will;)

My friend'sjust made her christmas snowflakes, lol, she's a bit of a star wars, computer games, programming geek.

Love these.

had a wicked weekend in London, nice to be back in the UK.

Did some MD for the first time in months, but first time in a long time my comedown has lasted 2 days :( daaaaaaaaaaark

Watching Hofmann's Potion at the moment, anyone seen it? Anyone know any other good documentaries on drugs to watch, ones that don't just discuss what most people already know and a bit more interesting sides to things without all the anti-drug propaganda.

Nearly Christmas now!

They are fucking brilliant, I like making christmas snowflakes, but I'm giving up after seeing hers :(

said she needed a scalpel for the detail.

yeah, theyre pretty sassy. must take exceptional patience and a steady hand to make one of those.

No more shopping trips this week, thank jebus. this was meadowhall yesterday at about 2pm, glad I got in early and escaped before 4pm because the car park queues were getting stupid. years ago, I used to love shopping, especially for other people. since leaving retail a good few years ago shopping is now just a misery source to me & to be avoided at all cost. there were queues backing up outside the Apple Store and into the main mall yesterday.

did have some freebie ice cream tho. never seen it done like this before. you pick 2 flavours and they kinda mix it together in front of you on a granite slab. i was expecting something decent, given the 'concept' and all the mixing palarva, but both flavours tasted bland and watery and a waste of a decent idea.
