We have a son called Tobias, he is 11 years old and he is terminally ill, his life expectancy was 12 (next year) but has been extended a little through surgery, he also has Asbergers Autism, a really high functioning Autism, he is very intelligent but gets obsessed by certain things the main one being Dr Who.

I remember reading about some kid who wanted to meet a TV chef, who refused. After big media blowback, she relented and went back to the kid to say he could meet her.. and he rejected her :P

but with this Dr Who kid - it's a bit strange to see people trying to force someone to do something charitable. kind of the opposite of the definition of charity, isn't it? and even if he did get on, it would be awkward as fuck knowing that you had to force people to let you come. kind of like going back to your doctor after you sued him or something.

Not saying that's wrong what you say but I think if it was your son you'd be singing a different song.

hmn ... whomever didn't at least THINK about questioning the legitimacy of the claims of discrimination and other questionables before writing strongly worded letters to zee BBC should be eating cake for tea tonight!

it may all be legit in the end .. partly, fully or otherwise .. but herds and cake are dearly matched

it's not paranoid to question highly questionable content. t'is part of ones personal integrity and responsibility imo.

I have done , bar the 'they're making it up' thing as it would be a bit to sick to do that one from their side that is.

Give it time, 'truth' will come out.

They're not asking for any money by the by, purely for people to get in touch via email / tweeting etc.

And them saying that kids aren't allowed on the set - That's seemingly true... Unless you're the kids of one of the writers, directors or actors.

hmn.. whats one from their side mean? you mean you believe them on the reasoning that you accept and believe theyve got a poorly kid, and if theyre doing this [ie: lying] then that wouldnt be a decent thing to do? hmn ... maybe they havent got a sick kid ... maybe lots of other potentials angles. maybe the facebook link leads to another that gets a scammer extra chips in poker, or mafia wars or other such lameness

to top that off I'll lend you some of my spreadable Marshallow fluff i use to make fudge with, so you could sandwich 2 slices together. it pwns on toast

My brother loves that Fluff stuff! He mostly eats it straight from the tub, or with his girlfriend I am told, but occasionally over toast too!

I can only manage a small amount of it before I am feeling sick.... I never was into eating sweet things much though, give me crisps over chocolate any day.

I'm off to bed now, night all.
