When I read that he was going to be in Dexter, I was like 'here we fuckin go, another rapper who thinks he can act'. But I must say I have been thoroughly impressed. His acting is big screen quality.

Its not really polite like. But it seems that PTCH & other Scots use it as a term of endearment , this isn't the case around here you generally hear the word when describing someone who is a bit of C...
 
I use it interchangeably. It has a nice ring to it as a word I think. I remember me and Emma at work agreeing that ours would be an office that said cunt with wreckless abandon.
 
It's used in both ways here. Just depends on context. If I say "What's everycunt doing tonight?" I obviously don't mean that everyone is a cunt but if I say "He's a cunt" I'm obviously meaning I don't like him. It gets a bit ambiguous though when you say things like "There's a few cunts in my mate's house". I didn't really think it was a Scottish thing, just said more by Scottish cunts (lol) because we tend to swear more in normal conversation. I often find it hard to not say fuck in every single sentence.

It's so common for me to say things like "I just stayed in last night coz nae cunt was doing anything" that I forget it's seen as like the ultimate swear word by a lot of older folk. My mum still gets a wee bit raging when I say it, she wouldn't bother about any other swear word at all.

It's weird that cunt is seen as worse than any other word for some reason.

cunt is the single greatest word in the dictionary bar none. meh. i have a poor vocabulary and it works for me

it's my personal favourite word. and it's sooo multifunctional! it's second only to fuck

and Mos Def is MINE mofo's! you're not 'avin him.

eh, well maybe you can. whatever. I've loved him for a fucking age. He's got a vibe about him that's indescribable. calm, knowing, wise. whutever. he's major doable and the type of guy who just watching on screen makes you wanna know him in person because he's obviously a v sound guy [saw The Hard Way and Monster's Ball @ the cinema]

My mum flies off the handle if I say cunt lol. To be honest I have become desensitised to it as well.
