yeah i really should but im feeling so rough at the moment, the gf has cleaned it with antiseptic etc and bandaged me up, not sure what else i can do, cant be fucked spending sunday in hosp if im honest :\
 
Nice caring girlfriend, lucky man! If you feel ok and the cuts fairly clean then I'd leave the hospital for today, but if your still worried in the morn you should definitely go! What does your gf think you should do?
 
yeah man what would i do without her, i just cleaned it and rebandaged it and the hole is filling in already so i think ill be ok this time :) fucking killing me though, worst thing was i didnt know it had happened till i woke up then got told a million diff stories of what a twat i was etc, then noticed i was pouring blood! not a nice wakeup thats for sure, ah well time is the only healer here i think
 
Reminds me of when I fell down the stairs and cracked my head, didn't know anything abou it till the morning when I woke up all bandaged up! Got found by my mum, not good!
 
Oww, mate! That sounds proper horrendous. Hope it heals up nicely. It's a horrible feeling doing your morning systems check after a night of heavy drinking and realising you've got a nasty injury to deal with as well as a slamming head, twisting stomach etc.
 
it aint fun, put it that way, lesson fully learnt though, so in a way its a good but painful lesson!
 
make sure you get some anti septic on it.. unless its already dried.. You can get germoline in most
local shops. Make sure it stays covered with a bandage or whatever unless its in a place that
wont get rubbed by clothes.
 
Wooden coffe tables sound like the way forward BCF , i've had the same one for 15 years and i'm gonna re varnish n take it to my NEw Flat , bought it in a charity shop for a £5 all those years ago , i luv it.

Yeah, like brimz says wooden coffee tables are the way forward. Dunno what it is with glass ones but they are involved in a lot of accidents! I know someone else who went through one pissed and had part of his intestines poking through the hole. Being a drunken fool he took this as his cue to go to bed and woke up clotted to the sheets. Lucky to wake up really.

Probably, mine is a hunting breed so she might be more prone to it, yes tis very disgusting!
