It's funny to hear it being sold at £100 a G because even as a tourist buying single grams in Bolivia and Peru from shady taxi drivers it never cost more than £10. That's obviously a rip off price with a big mark up. It was brilliant stuff but now after paying that price I could never pay much more for it, certainly not here when it's been stamped on to fuck. It's actually not worth more than about a tenner.
 
I doubt anyone here would ever even contemplate saying they could get decent coke for a tenner a g. in the uk

The point is though spadey if your paying £100 a g its not been stamped on as much as the £40. And yes you can buy in Peru for less, but every set of hands has to make some money! Plus transportation costs, it's no wonder it's £100 a g for fairly pure gear. A flight all those thousands of miles to peru costs more than your £100 for a g of flake coke does. Still a rip off though!

I've already phoned him back and told him that the numbing agent in it was excellent, i can hardly feel my face but...cocaine? if its any more than 20% i'd be shocked. very bad quality for the price but this guy does not know me or know my drug history and is clearly trying to take me for a chump.

I was getting much better stuff for £40/g in the late nineties when i was big into coke.

I'd pay £60 a G for GOOD coke, i understand the risks and cost of bringing into the uk so i don't have any problem with people making a decent mark up but the coke game has just turned pure silly. I'd be interested to know who is responsible for the silly mark up, the producers? the importers? the chaps in wholesale? the mid-tier dealers? or the street dealers/low end dealers that sell to the end users?. either way. massive con.. i'm happy to leave coke in the past.

I'm feeling a tad crepuscular this evening. Been drinking all afternoon and returned home to find myself temporarily accommodated in the doghouse...

Even a line of 20% coke would be welcome right now...the last few times I've laid my hands on any it has been absolutely awful. I got given a sample recently in the hope I'd buy more off them and had exactly the same as you Watson. Plenty of numbness, zero goodness...
 
I've only bought coke 2-3 times in the last year, used to do it daily.

Once this year paid 80, once, about 70, once was local 25 quid... :( (pissed up wasn't i)

the 80 and the 70 were okay, but yeah, the same sort of qual as bog standard 40-50 quid stuff round early 200ish....

lmid-late 90's paid more,about 60quid for pretty good shit, but used to only do it as a posh treat then....and I was probably gettin skanked anyway...

the 25quid stuff i had 2 lines and put the rest down the plughole, NEVER done that with coke before....

People don't even offer me lines down the pub anymore, they know I'm just gonna turn me nose up and decline, I'd rather do meph tbh, the cunts down there look down their powdered noses at me, scummy mephboy, lol.

EDIT>>>>>Prefer Doctor Pepper! Or usually just have Diet Coke or Pepsi, or Tesco own brand diet cola, depends if there's an offer on, think i got the zero in at the moment though, doesn't reaslly matter, I just use it as a bulking agent for me rum.

Bang on. I would pay £60 for top notch flake no problem. But £100 for 1g is obviously a rip even if it was top notch. When it first started the £100 a g everytime I had it was absolute top notch shit, pearly flakes. But now every fucker is trying to pass off mediocre gear at £100 a g. I know one guy who gets nice pearly yellowy tinged stuff at £70 but he's a cunt so I don't bother. Give me ketamine any day.

I think it's just more of a market being full of idiots who will pay £40 for a gram of utter shite that's driven up the prices tbh. Although the kilo price for good shit has risen so who knows whats up..

I remember once our coke dealer (before she was busted) boasted to her mate... Ahh try a line of the real coca cola! I've got coke, diet coke and pepsi... £100 a g, £55 a g and £40 a g repress 8)

I just popped to the shop and bought some coke for ₤1.79 8)

On the spur of the moment I bought some energy pills from the counter just to see what they are, there was a queue behind me so I didn't really get a chance to inspect the ingredients, but the two capsules were only ₤1.99. Upon closer inspection once I got home it seems it is just a blend of stimulants that you would normally find in energy drinks. Waste of money, might try one out later or in the morning and see if it is any better than a can of red bull.
 
Never actually paid for bad coke in this country. I used to buy it off a bloke I worked with (who bought it from god knows where) and it was always very nice and not overly cut. Have had stuff that other people gave me and it was always shit compared to that so I stopped using it. Argentina, Brazil, Peru and Bolivian coke was much much better though in Argentina it could be just as bad as the stuff you get here now at times for £25 a G. Brazil only had it once and it was nice, consistently good in Peru and Bolivia EXCEPT in the Route 36 Cocaine bar where it wasn't even coke it was meth amphetamine. Why they sell meth in a coke bar in a country where coke is dirt cheap I don't know but it definitely wasn't coke, was obvious to me and anyone else who'd actually done coke before, straight off the bat.
