Did you not try those two bits of software I kept mentioning til I thought I'd have an aneurysm? Either way, best of luck getting the data back, the borked drive is truly a modern nightmare.

yeah I tried both, and some others....

One of them retrieved loads of folders of meaningless files of 7kb or so in them, dunno what to do with that, only about half a gig, got them from me c drive I think, "lost files", and retreived a few deleted files, again, meaningless waffle to me.....

hah. everyone's pretentious in one way or another. and I'm certainly no exception.

I've no shame in admitting that I've secretly stockpiled a precautionary stash of my 'Atomic Magenta' hairdye, just in case a nuclear or zombie apocolypse actually arises. So, when the anarchy comes, I wont be reduced to being mousey brown again, my psuedo-dignity will be in-fucking-tact. Regardless of its negative rep, pretentiousness it just a basic symptom of the human need, and desire, to relate to other humans, and as such can be filed under empathy, relativity and other ++++ human characteristics.

Mods are allowed to enter for fun, I am pretty sure we agreed that mods are not allowed to win though as the prize is a custom title, and mods already have a fancy title We had some submissions from mods and admins last time though, they just were not allowed to win unfortunately.

So I guess yeah, mods are thrown to the gutter like lepers, that includes me too.

If you are referring to yourself then nah, we appreciate your visits into our domain and submissions from you or any other mods are welcomed too, maybe there could be a separate vote for mod/smod/admin submissions, but without any prizes.
