Hi all, how are we all doing?

I'm a little down this evening, nothing mega, just left my girlfriend in Reading as she's in uni there. I will see her in a week like as we are meeting up this weekend but we have spent like every day over the last 3 months together. Even when I was in hospital after my accident she came daily for the whole of the 4 hours visiting so I'm going to feel a bit lost without her this week :(

I know it is dead minor to be down about compared to what some people are going through but it's still got me.

Someone start talking crap to me and get my mind off of it!

Sam, I was one step a head of you there and had a wee bit of brown while writing that post!

I feel kind of stupid feeling like this on the grand scale of things but yeh, I am really going to miss her. I suppose that it's a good thing really, shows I love her I suppose and maybe I have finally chosen a girl who's good for me.... other than the crazy whitches I have in the past!

Go for it while you're still capable of casting your cynicism aside and trusting someone, and I hear it sometimes even works. :)

Sounds like you have met a good person there, so don't ever take that for granted, which is much easier than it sounds.

Were this a film I would now wistfully look into the distance as if remembering something, turn up the collars of my overcoat, light a cigarette and walk off in a world-weary manner.

Oh, enjoy the brown too.

My nose is huge, as proven in a previous picture I posted, complete with ludicrous hair. Holding some tobacco, looking very ropey.

Also, thanks for the advice there as well. I'm going to try my absolute hardest to make it work with this girl. I've known her since the start of this year and we hit it off right from the start. We were seeing each other from about May time and she saw me have my accident and was there holding my hand while I was in the ambulence and hospital. We made our relationship official while I was in hospital :) Sorry if that story had bored you but, I will take that advice on board and really try not to take her for granted. It's fresh but I feel that I've known her all my life and I want this loved up feeling to last forever, it's far better than any other drug enduced high by far!

How did things go with your ex this weekend Sam? Am I right in thinking you were seeing her?

The nose pic was a thread or two back. It was from times when I wasn't exactly a picture of health and vigour.

Glitched - I wittered on about my night out with my ex (and others) in the Friday thread. Read it if you're really bored. ;)

Needless to say, we trod on each other's respective mojos and ended up spending the whole weekend together in slightly-tense but fun platonic fashion. I'm at hers now in fact, but she's opting for reading and smoking weed rather than being sociable. It's not unusual...
