Flapjacks? Nice. :)

Sorry for the amphetamine envy - I suppose you do mod a forum full of speed freaks. Good to see you anyhow!

God the social in BDD has gone mental, speed freaks (2 of them) that seem to be battling to stay awake the longest :\

I would love a good dose of some nice pasty base though :) I think I will be definitely getting some for myself on payday, either that or ritaline, not quite sure what it the better choice.

I've been wondering about Ritalin for a while, though I was a second generation rit-kid for a while during my childhood. ;)

Yeah, stims in sensible doses are great for certain individuals. Sometimes too great, then you realise you're fiending while pretending it's all under control.

A funny one, speed. I've certainly lost the plot on it more than once, especially with alcohol. Not always a great idea.

The forum is mostly abusive drug users advising others not to be abusive. We are much better at giving advice than following. IME of BL'ers I've met and myself.

EADD definitely is. I think there are an awful lot of lurkers who never post or hardly ever post, who take the harm reduction advice banded about as gospel which is why we have to keep it up. I also think that although most in EADD cross the line reasonably frequently, if it weren't for BL and the support network it provides we would probably all be pushing it even more, and our ability to function in society and appear at least slightly normal would go down as well. Most importantly though we are all here to help pick up the pieces.

Well put, MSB. :)

Aren't we all proud of ourselves this afternoon?

If it's any consolation to those somehow concerned, I'm still an arrogant shower of shit. And proud.

I would hazzard a guess given enough decent paste you would outlast either of them ;)

I'm currently watching the scotland game, looking good at 1-0 %)

was reading the paper yesterday and found an article about the drug squad over here.it was formed in 1968 with a total of 4 cops in the unit.

little chance of getting caught back then.

"Morning" folks.

Bogman - I always wish I could go back in time to take advantage of OTC Opium and Cocaine Elixirs / Tinctures. Infact just before stupid prohibition I would have felt like a candy kid in a drug-infused candy shop.

Gahhh.... I REALLY need to start working on my set. I'm just being so bloody useless and rubbish though.
How hard is it to choose tracks for a 45min set for fuck's sake?! :|

Hope everyone had a lush night and are recovering well this fair morn.

Afternoon EADD folks,

Monsta - 45mins, now surely once you've made a start you're going to enjoy that? It's making the start bit that's the hardest.

I have no wish to make a start on mopping floors, so fuck that for a Sunday afternoon, i have enough to be going on with with laundry :|

Tomorrow I have to go on 2 boats and stay overnight on one of thee islands for work, then another island via more boats the day after - just now the weather is pish too :\ This means random if you're lucky mobile signal, nae internet, nae comforting things after work and having to consult with weird islanders on things that I'd rather not. And nae guarantee of making all those boats back home again :(

Still it's Sunday now and i'm cosy at home :)

you also missed the 1030 cut-off time at McDonald's for sausage & egg mcmuffins.

i'm beginning to think that wi-fi coverage in the kitchen is a bad idea.

Ahh bloody mopping floors I feel you Kate, our washing machine decided to spew out with some aggression it's entire foamy contents this morning and the landlord ain't picking up his phone.
Good luck with the island hopping, bringing a good book should tide you over till you return to the connected web.

Had that second interview which I was excited about, turns out after speaking with them for quite a while that in reality it was a comission only job offer for 'entry level' employees at which point I promptly told them to go shove their tiered payment schemes up their arses. Really sad as well because I can see how it works, they get hundreds of people in then maybe hire 50 of them and after a month maybe 5 or so will still be in the job. The rest having worked for a month below the minimum wage. Looks like I'm going to become a Sandwich Artist for a bit!

That's rubbish, so sorry to hear that. So disappointing for you and I can imagine you've had to put quite a bit of work into those interviews. Don't give up.

Thank you for your kind comments about boats - least I won't be stuck in an office. My kindle is already packed :)

Shit man did you get suckered in by one of those door selling jobs that are advertised as marketing or something that sounds equally good? I got onto the training day (who doesn't?), which was basically an unpaid day selling gas door to door. The boss told me if I just work there for a year i'll be up to his level and rolling in it. I said 'if you earn 100k a year why on earth do you drive a clapped out mini, and wear an absolutely battered suit and shoes?' The guy had clearly bought into the scam himself a long time ago. They have names for people like me, they say I am 'negging out' and advised all employees never to talk to me ever again lol. Maybe it wasn't one of those jobs I don't know, if it was look up Cobra group and see what you're missing out on!
