I found the downheartening of rejection really harsh. Then my mind got even more fucked up. Really need to get better and back to some form of work, volunteering to begin with.

Thanks. Yeah I agree with that sentiment, it's not that I have nothing to do during the day it's more that it'd be nice to have a bit of routine now and then coupled with actually having some money to spend of an evening.
Aye Monsta, it's pretty bollocks getting rejected for jobs when you know you're perfectly capable of performing the position amicably. I'm absolutely terrible with interviews having only had a couple in my life :/
 
no. and they should have. whether people like apple or not, anyone who does IT/computer science related stuff should respect them, and pretty much everyone whose of sufficient wealth to be on bluelight has in some way benefited from his work.

monsta- seriously man every day you are cleaning. how much mess do you actually make? i haven't done any cleaning, not even the washing up, in nearly 2 weeks and i'm not even getting close to thinking i should maybe clean yet.

I read somewhere that he quit his job for atari and backpacked across india taking psychedelic drugs. He was certainly involved with the Bay Area scene at the time.

Same mate I just had one. Everything went well, the guy was sound, seemed to like me... but they do CBR checks. I admitted I have been charged for personal of weed once on the phone, but I didn't realise they were actually going to check til today. I've got a couple for ecstacy and one pending for dealing which I don't know if they can see yet or not? He did say that would be the only issue with drugs charges really. I'll know by 6pm anyway I guess.

And yeah shame about Steve Jobs as said a brilliant innovator and mind lost too young really, I'm sure there were more great ideas to come.

Ive just spent the last 10 minutes chasing a huge spider about my living room. Cant fuckin believe it. Ive been in Aus for 4 weeks and seen fuck all; not one single spider and just then as I was typing up the fact that id probably do Amanda Knox I see this huge fuck off spider on the wall opposite me.

I must admit I fuckin shit myself at the sight of it. Ive never seen a spider that size. I eventually killed the fucker; woke up my bird in the process who was not best pleased to see me jumping around with a bottle of spray bleach and an addidas trainer.

Fuck knows, but it could have probably given me a nasty bite. Dead now !

Eurgh that was pretty horrible, seem to be getting the hang of this interview malarkey a bit more now though. Seems it would be a fairly alright salary as well if they call me back for another interview. Got a job at a well known sandwich chain confirmed to fall back onto though if my other options fail, not really what I had in mind but it's money at the end of it :)

Ahahaha! My mate did pretty much that exact same thing to a dealer in Ibiza. The guy and his bird were in our room tryna sort out a deal for a pile of pills, my mate jumped outside the room, got in that position & got someone to chap the door. The dealer was the closest so we were like "Get the door man!" hahahaha! I still can still picture his face as he clocked my mates ginger cock n balls hanging there!

Why they'd call back the long haired guy with no tie and no confidence I don't know, better than being a sandwich artist I think though hehe.
