Hi all, today is a nice day! got me some mandy,billy and over a gram of POTENT changa to enjoy this weekend :D:D:D

Bcf is up to his usual party tricks! I need to go shopping in a bit for a suit, got a funeral to go to tomorrow, not looking forward to that obviously! Can't be fucked to move as I didn't sleep again last night!

See those guys in the orange robes, banging the tambourines? At least 50% of them are acid casualties I reckon.

indeed BCF dont be going off the rails! im looking forward to the phet posts tho, and every time i update the page a new post by the one and only BCF, rambling pish at whoever is willing to update the main page :D mixing it with acid would just result in hundreds of posts about the vortex thats growing on your wall that you are being sucked into!

You just gave me my first proper belly laugh of the day, so thanks. I hadn't noticed, but the irony is pretty brutal isn't it?

Not sure where I sit on the current (and past, but more current) LSD-and-Eastern mysticism thing. Just because you've dropped a tab doesn't mean you're from Tibet y'know? What's wrong with the Western mystery traditions? Too much white-boy post-colonial guilt or summat?

As for the Goa brigade, well... fuck off to Goa.

I jest, only a little mind. Besides, I was 'Horus' for that short period, which ain't exactly 'Western' (not that I believe in these politico-cultural conceits mostly defined by white imperialists a few hundred years ago) but I suppose if you believe in the Trinity-syncretism-thing then he sort of sneaks in.

Am I convincing you to lay off the acid for a while yet, BCF? :)
 
well if you've dropped cid and thought you were from tibet thats bad and you really shouldnt be dropping acid again! (not as bad as thinking your a millionaire in under half an hour but thats another story for another time)

hahaha the goa brigade! GOA trance is pretty shite, dont mind proper psy but im a hard techno and breakcore guy, so i dont stray to far into the goa brigade when tripping but i enjoy some hippies company at time, they have the best drugs and some fucked up tunes ;)

doubt ull convince BCF to lay off massively, its in his blood :D

Bastard! I'm several hundred miles south of you and it's freezing inside. I just went outside and found it a lot warmer, though, perhaps I'm being haunted.
 
Started playing Doom 3 on the computer for the craic, hopefully I get some jumpy times! What's everyone at this evening? Sober day for me.

I love some Goa, it's what got me into psytrance and I find the sounds are much more psychedelic when tripping, much more prehistoric feel which really inspires fantastic visuals. Plus I think it deserves some credit as it's played a big part in promoting more euphoric trance.

money being the main problem but amon tobin is playing in london the day after me birthday in nov so i reckon a bluelight meet up would be good, you could see what the wreckhead transforms from text into human lol ;)

I got into psytrance by accident, my best mate used to love it when I first met him but I was into indie and not bothered. Couple of years ago though my teenage housemate took me to a local psytrance night. It was awesome even if I was given only a tiny bit of MDMA for my first ever time which any effect would have been overpowered by the shit pills at the night provided by my housemates mate. Felt great at the time but hard comedown for a few days not helped by having fallen out with a friend because of my results of going out. Weirdly enough there was some nytol in the house and that helped until it ran out.

Would love to find a similar night but apparently there's not a lot about where I've moved to. A new mate said he'd let me know when there was a good one. I don't mind sampling some different music, anything but drum and bass, no melodies to it, nothing to dance properly too.

I'd love to come to a bluelight meet up, I've been around longer than it looks cos I had to make a new name to prevent being spied on and judged. I either couldn't afford it or social anxiety stopped me at the time. I'd have a go now I have access to better fun things.

There's a bit of discussion on it here if you're interested. It was my first experience a few months back and like I said on the thread, it's the people that made it. Absolutely fantastic night.
