They were touring buddies for quite a while before Primal Scream started believing their own bullshit (again) and making horrible rock records.

Phoenix Festival - old skool! Wanted to go there nearly every year but it folded around the time I became old enough to afford it. They had some good lineups on.

brimz
Saw them at a Trade Union anti racisim free gig at Victoria Park they kicked it that day.

I was there.

i also saw them on the same bill as The scream Pheonix Festival i think

I was there. When ADF opened the bill at midday? There were about 4 of us watching. So we probably have met. :)

Yeah I was there 96 and 97. Victoria Park Scream gig was 97 too.

EADD scottish contingent; I'm off to Edinburgh this weekend. Any food/bar recommendations (bearing in mind the romantic/anniversary leanings of the occasion?

In Edinburgh as of tomorrow probably till Saturday / Sunday. No idea about good restaurants for romantic meals but the mosque kitchen does the best lamb curry you'll ever taste. Bar depends what you are into really? Fancy cocktail bars with posh wankers, traditional Scottish boozers with live folk music, off the wall eccentric places, normal pubs with good selection if drink, pubs with gigs....? I can give you suggestions.

Anyone else regularly make plans of what they will do with their day (while waiting to get home), getting home and doing 2-3 of these things then wasting the rest of the day thanks to the Internet and TV? - I really need to get more motivation to do less substance more reality based things!

Change that to "doing none of these things", replace internet & TV with weed & you've summed up 90% of my days.

How about a couple of posh wanker suggestions - I am from London after all... :), a traditional boozer and an off the wall place? Thanks Spade!

And PTCH - maybe I'll save Glasgow for our silver wedding anniversary...

Goodnight eadd, just sniffed 250mgs of mxe, please ignore all posts from now until tomorrow morning!

Crikey Acidtek... Should be a nice big hole you are crawling into right about now...

atm and SamG; thanks for the TG recommendations... Been a big PiL fan for years so TG is a nice step on from them.

Although I probably like the majority of my music to be of a more gentle persuasion I do enjoy some white noise every now and again...

On an unrelated note - discovered that my 10 month old son can be persuaded to finish his dinner if I sing 'Farmer in the City' in my best Scott Walker impersonation. It has the additional effect of making his mother leave the room...

Hello, and g'night guys.. been avoiding this place the past few days but thought I'd pop back as it's 2am and I have a lot of time on my hands.. fortunately I have youtube, an excellent pair of headphones and plenty of cigarettes.

Hope you are all well <3

Hey Eff, you had to do it while people were asleep di'ncha?

All is well here, apart from nearly thinking it was my day off and turning my alarm off. More importantly, hope all is as sound as can be with yersen. Be good. <3

That song will do that. It has that effect on some people. =D

Have you seen that 30 Century Man documentary? We may have discussed this before. Scott's a fascinating guy.

Yes I believe we have shared our mutual admiration for the baseball capped one before. :) Fantastic film. Just put drift on for my walk to work. Juddering meditations on 9/11 and Mussolini are perhaps a bit much for a lovely sunny morning. Maybe some Scott4 instead...

Does anyone else find that, at the end of the Auto Glass advert, singing:
"Auto Glass repair, Auto Glass replace;
Ignore this little chip and you find glass shards in your face!

with as much enthusiasm as I? Didn't think so... I am sad ;)

Morning all <3 Hope you all have a good day :)
