One more glass of wine left then this bottle is finished.

Not sure anyone will remember but mentioned a while back some fucking salesman wanker had convinced my 90 year old gran to get double glazing in her house. She signed up for it despite the fact she didn't need it, had no idea what she'd signed for, didn't know how much it was costing, couldn't even see her windows as she's blind and lives at the top of a flat where there's no noise plus she already had double glazing. They were in installing it before she'd told anyone about it so we were too late to stop it. They only did 2 windows and my gran kept it quiet about how much it was costing, we thought it was about £5k which is a total rip off for 2 windows as got a quote for a whole house and it was £2k. Went to see my gran this evening and found the contract laying around.....it was going to cost her £10k in total, would take over a decade to pay off at the rate she was paying it. Fuming. I can't even see the logic in a company giving someone that old it when the likelyhood of it being paid off is slim. Why do they do it? Cunts!

Luckily my grans sister who has a fair bit of cash paid it off tonight when I spoke to them about it. Managed to get it a lot cheaper because they paid it early.
 
Saturday night indoors - pissed, trammied, vallied and stoned.

I should be out on the pull really. Too skint, too apathetic.

What total cunts man. You shouldn't have paid them a fuckin penny, and told them to take you to court for it. I honestly don't think many judges in this country would rule against a vulnerable 90 year old woman!

Yes Sam, as someone [slightly] younger than me, AND single, you should be out there. I'm at my mum's 60th birthday party. Her first, heroin addict, husband is here. Keith Richards minus the charisma and with less motor function. It is hell...
 
I would be out, however...

I had some md pills last weekend, and im going to brussels and amsterdam in a week and a halfs time; so saving my pennies and giving my organs a rest in the process. :(

I reckon we'd have a case with Watchdog like, they are a well known double glazing company as well.

I'm sure the increasingly-rowdy entourage of adoring women would create enough disruption to have me ejected from any venue anway, so it's for the best. ;)

That situation sounds truly horrific. Just drink or hide as best you can. Sixtieth birthdays are a real potential minefield.

wow, i bravely ventured forth into the unknown. and it was good. i'm no where near as off my tits as i was when i left the house though, and this must be rectified. hope all of eadd is having a good evening.
