any!!! in an ideal world spliff roller/ganj tester would prob be the job for him. but failing that, something that pays. ideally with some progression prospects. he doesn't really know what he wants to do, other than def not his last 2 jobs....
 
Hmmmm, i'll ask the wifey which recruitment agencies have been best for her and get back to you! Leeds is shite for jobs that pay above 14k, but we've been over this already lol.
 
Oh eadd, I cannot be bothered with work today. I haven't been bothered with it for the entire week after taking monday off to apparently sleep the entire day. I've reached new levels of cba this week.

I can't stand the way Friday afternoon seems to drag its heels the way it always does. I think I'm going to take it upon myself to finish early with the factory and warehouse staff. Purely as a gesture of solidarity, you understand.

Very true. I miss the pre-recession days where it was just a case of turning up at a certain agency and then being put into an NHS job on 16-18k a year that was basically one hour of work a day followed by 7 hours on MSN. I also miss living down south where they are more private companies to work in...
 
yep, finding a job has turned into an utter arse since the recession. cos we graduated just as it hit, it means my boyf would now be better off, money and job prospects wise, if he'd have gone straight to work instead of getting a degree.

there do seem to be a lot of companies to work for in leeds though- certainly lots of finance stuff and software engineering stuff anyway. just the jobs available are shit.
 
I did I am here reading wikipedia like all got workers do! Someone started beer friday here a few weeks ago so I'm keeping a beedy eye on my pooty woot clock to establish when beer o'clock is upon us!

I swear, I'm as desensitized as they come, but really ... stories of 'Jade Goody's ... mums hacking Accusations', have already frayed my gentle nerves today. I'm not sure my brain can deal with a scandal of the green fingered variety. sorry. can't click. it'll have to wait til i've had a cup of tea

MadDog 357 Ghost Chilli sauce is ace, I've had a bottle for a year, and it's only half gone, amazing stuff, real good kick to it too, not just a chilli kick, lovely deep flavour, but hot as fuck.

Satan's Nuts (cashews seasoned with Naga), are ace, leave a bowl with a few out next time you got mates round, ask some tough guy if he likes hot things, chillis and that, and offer him to grab a handful....sit back and watch his bravado wither as he tries to make out they ain't burnin his throat out. One cashew is manageable nice, and let it last about 10 mins before you want another, any more than 3 in one go is askin for trouble.

It's a great site.
 
Hi guys,

Right I am feeling a bit crappy because of the operation yesterday so getting into bed now (yes, 9 o'clock on a Friday night) to watch a film and fall a sleep. I have what's called Picturebox on Virgin which gives me a selection on films that I can watch anytime. I have just looked on todays list and can't make up my mine, what do you guys think? My options are:

8 Mile,
The Big Lebowski,
The Ex (Aka Fast Track),
Jackass Number Two,
The Last House On The Left.

Obviously that's not the whole list but after scanning that's what I have come up with as possibilities. Unless anyone knows of anything else on TV tonight. Lets say for arguments sake starting at 22:00 so I have a hour to shower, get a drink and poo before settling in ed for the night. :)
 
I was thinking to myself that it was going to be between he Big Lebowski or Jackass from the BL vote.

In my head it was perhaps between The Big Lebowski or The Last House On The Left because I've heard good things about it and not yet seen it.
