I've said this before, but the saddest part of growing older for me is loosing friends to, erm, mediocrity, conformity and lamenting the loss of their vitality and passion for life. How the hell I retain mine is a mystery. I can only put it down to a love of d'erb. I may well have damaged my short term memory, but it seems to keep my mind active and open. I dunno.

A party partner of mine has just passed 30, he was great fun. I say was because even he has gone the same way as so many others; old before his time.

But I guess that's why I love this place. Age aside, I feel at home here. In fact, I actually feel a lightweight =D

lol i think you were both asleep by half 2, i didn't even go to bed til 6. pussies :p . and yeah mr up helped lift you up monsta. i am glad you were both pleased with the hospitality.

edit- actually if i recall correctly monsta had only had 3 hours sleep the night before, which means you did admirably well.

he doesn't mind. as long as your not naked in a pile of vomit (this wasn't me...) i think he's fine with it. just a pity you didn't get a chance to meet him, he is most lovely. but i will apologise anyway if you'd like me to.

It was indeed a beautiful violin...

Monsta made his appreciation known to the whole of the street. Whether it was the music, the instrument or the violinist herself I don't know, but combination of all three is my best bet.
 
Everyone else were so quiet! Some appreciation was the least I could do :)
Might have been a tad loud and random though... But if someone shouted "That were well good!" at me in their most Yorkshire-ish of Yorkshire accents, I'd be fairly happy ;)

I think it's time for a lie down now. I think the idea of there being little hangover today was very misguided 8)
 
Just got back from working at the "Great Dorset Steam Fair" and what an abortion of a festival that was. Worked 65 hours in 5 days sleeping on rocks, absolutely knackered!
Such a bizarre event compounded by serving the rudest customers I've ever had the displeasure of serving drinks to. Freaking crayzeee pikeys and their obnoxious children, one of the people I was working with actually got offered £200 to tell them when the money was leaving the bar!
Apparently the site had around 100,000 people + there, it was akin to some giant jumble sale (one stall seemingly only offered handles of various guises, another just had buckets of assorted screws) accompanied by hundreds of old steam engines.
Would like to have had a trip or two with me there and a couple of ales, sitting down watching the mechanical behemoths chug along, fear and loathing in the westcountry!

Finally got some sleep last night after five days up on the trot, feel a lot better today but not 100%, was tripping out day before yesterday, thought the police were after me and that bluelight had some conspiracy against me, everyone was communicating by putting random capital letters in their posts! Glad I feel a little better today!

Really glad you got some sleep. I think more is advisable - five days is a hell of a stretch! Take it easier next time, and have some downers to hand.

Cannae find the RC thread... Can anyone tell me the dosage range for o-desmethyltramadol? I've read everything from 30mg to 150mg as a starter dose.
I normally have about 250mg DHC.

In other news, I'm making steak fajitas cause i'm an extravagant bastard.

Not that experienced with dhc so cant really compare, but id start at around 70mg if your opiate tolerant, can always have more (dosed orally, i've never tried it any other way). Wait up to 2 hours before redosing, should feel it within the hour though depending when you last ate.
& Careful if you've got a fair bit of it, the withdrawals are nasty, and its much closer to oxy or h than regular tramadol

just booked tickets for a gig in Dublin friday night.Gabriel & Dresden with Soundcrowd in support.

im going for soundcrowd me being an old sckool raver,at least 3 BLers coming along.will be my first nite out in 6 weeks.
