After me saying for weeks the royal wedding is a fucking joke, stick the street parties up your arse etc I'm going to one. :D

My mate through in Edinburgh says his neighbour just invited the whole street to one, they're closing it off, setting up a BBQ and a keg and got a band coming. Fucking in!
 
oops nicked some temazepam as theres no booze and got no money to buy any, feel like a dick but they were in exactly the same place as last time even though I owned up to my mum about nicking over xmas.. assumed they would be hidden but had a druggie moment and checked where they were last time, exactly the same place! done 45mg temaz didn't pinch anything else

although I'm a dick with drugs I wish my mum would admit shes on them, I mentioned lorazepam the other day and she said she 'might have heard of it', shes a nurse and has a strip of 1mg loraz them in her room! now I've come clean and said I was hooked on benzos I wish she would at least admit to me shes on similar stuff

still, its been a while and she has a half full bottle of 10mg temaz won't miss a few, think they dish em out more freely in Portugal anyway

maybe that was too much information,, its a one off, not going to start munching them back in the UK have really enjoyed the clearheadedness
 
Aw Tekken I wouldn't worry about a one off.. pretty daft of your mum to leave em in the same place now she knows about your past problems with them! If you're worried you might start dipping into them more often maybe ask her to hide em..

How's Portugal going? Am jealous, although it's pretty hot and sunny here at the mo!

Portugal is great thanks! really good to be with my family eating well and enjoying the sun :)

been getting quite a lot of uni work done and also been exercising a lot on this 'techno gym' weights machine that anyone in the apartment block can use, and the treadmill but I fell off it yesterday! running with your eyes closed is silly :o feel better than I have in years literally (last time I was here I was stoned every night and sneaking temazepam, codeine among other things...)

so yeah its great feeling so healthy and focused, making progress on my work etc, but the drug monkey in me is still alive and kicking, bit worried about going back to Leeds on wednesday.. going to try my best, even just cutting down with weed its nice not being fuzzy all the time.. but I know I'll be tempted by the comfy drugs, even though have deleted the main number I used for brown there is a heroin addict living right next door and another round the corner so it wouldn't be too hard to fuck up :\

also I have been drinking every night here, get quite anxious if I don't have one, the other night when I posted in the fucked thread about how badly I was craving I eventually found a bottle of cooking port and drank that, it was rank but I really needed the alcohol, and did the same last night to go with the temaz, so even if I do stay off the nasty need to watch my drinking.. also my housemate who has his ups and downs has stopped taking his olanzapine, he's sick of feeling so tired all the time, and apparently has been drinking to the point of blackout again as he's not sleeping, so got to be prepared for some drama
 
Great news that you are feeling good! It's impossible to ever get rid of the desire to get fucked I think, but replacing it with other joys is the best way to manage it. Am distracting myself with my garden at the mo! Although I have started on the wine alread, oops.. just been drinking this weekend though so no come-downs or rinsed bank accounts come tomorrow. Actually that's not quite true, did have a few chems on Sat, but they were free and minimal :D

I'm going to start trying to get fit too, makes me think twice about resorting to booze and drugs and cigs if I've spent the week trying to be healthy. Usually doesn't stop me, but at least makes me pause ;)

Argh that doesn't sound good about your housemate, olanzapine is a snoozy one I hear, not good to just stop it abruptly though :( good luck, I hope things are okay..

Enjoy the rest of your break in the sun :D plenty of sun here too, hope it stays for a while!
 
yeah its in human nature to have some fun with drugs, but I really must stop fucking around with brown don't want to look back in a few years time just thinking 'why oh why didn't I listen to everyone'

but this fitness thing is great, it amazing how quick you get stronger and healthier, might see if my powerlifting housemate will let me use his card to get in the gym upon my return that would be a good thing to keep me occupied

think I'd enjoy gardening too, what are you growing? at the moment I don't even have a porch, next place I move must have a little area in front of it like my old place, the cat loves going outside but in the place we are now he doesn't have anywhere to go so just sits inside filling up his poop box for me, thats one good thing about wednesday, get to see the big fella again :)
 
At the mo I'm growing tomatoes, chillis, potatoes and herbs but planning on getting some lettuce seeds and courgette and aubergine baby plants soon too :)

We've got an outdoor bit, it's actually on the roof of someone else's flat, it's a proper sun trap :D south facing and sheltered so perfect for lots of plants in pots. No grass or beds but it's looking lovely now with some plants and prayer flags up.

I wish we had a cat! :D

Fucking Edinburgh lol. Trust there to be a royal wedding street party kicking off there. Fuck a royal wedding.
 
I think it's a bit unofficial, just basically an excuse to cause chaos in the street and get pissed. No one will be watching the wedding, that's on in the morning and the party doesn't start till 3pm.
 
feel pretty crap myself and have been considering doing some drugs or finishing the horrible high commissioner whisky that I have here, will probably control myself though, got a 12 hour shift tomorrow.

Gonna go down to the shop now though, it closes at 7 and I need some food for tonight.
 
As I missed the shop, no beer for me tonight, not gonna drink the whisky either, just entered an $11 poker tournament with a prize pool of over $50K, been a long time since I had a good result in one of these, maybe tonight will be the night, need to make it really deep to get good money though. If I make the final table I should be in for at least $500, top 7 players will all get over $1,000. Will be hard to battle my way through the other 5,000 or so entrants though.
