I'd say if you're able to type and look at a computer screen then your best bet is just to get some fresh air. It's too late for a can of Tennent's to be any real use. Food, Irn Bru, fresh air... works wonders.

not watched that in years, will have to get round too soon.
 
No television here and I would like to watch the football, can't decide whether or not to go to the on site gym/social club bar and watch it there on my own. Not really gone to pubs on my own before.
 
^yeah sit on yer own tilll you've had about 6 pints than start chattin shit to anyone who'll listen, even if they don't want to. Try and tag along with them when they try to make their excuses to leave, you'll have great time and look really cool, as has already been pointed out.
 
Seriously, go out. It's football, so you can always have a chat with the bloke besides you. I've gone to pubs on my own loads of times to watch the game.
 
Gonna make myself some dinner first, only really just finished work, will pop over for the 2nd half if the first half makes it seem like a good match, not really got too much money to spend so probably the best idea.
 
am starving, I know going to the pub before dinner would increase the efficiency of my alcohol intake, but would also give me more drinking time, hence more money wasting time. Will see how the first half seems then maybe go.

Just put a pizza in the oven now anyway.
 
I feel you Mugs, alcohol hunger is pretty intense.. been out for a few to celebrate first day at new job and am ravenous now. Lucky the mister is in the kitchen now. Where he should be.
 
Thanks :) it's going really well, loving it so far!

He's making tortellini with tomato and chilli sauce with extra peppers and onions. I'm happy with that :D

Pizza was alright, only realised once it was ready that I don't have a tea towel or any oven gloves, but managed to get it out of the oven and onto my plate without burning myself. Wasn't filling enough, might have another one, lol. Or maybe just some cheese on toast.

Hope your food is nice too, sound like it will be.

Decided not to go out, not worth going for just one half of football, specially as I am not a member yet so have to pay to get in too.

It's a goodish game, Chelsea really giving it a go and could have had a goal, but Hernandez had the ball in the net twice for United. One offside, but the other counted and United are 2-0 up on aggregate.

IJ u been watchin any IPL . Your man ross Taylor hit a massive 6 to win a game 2day.
He's in Warne's team n they look pretty tasty with tait bowling 150 k plus

Is actually a gym/fitness center that is about a 30 second walk from my room, has a decent bar area that always shows the sports. I am not a member yet but will be joining after payday. Will probably use it mainly for the swimming pool and the 5 a side league, and the bar, drinks are cheap there.

Have been listening to the game on the radio, sounds alright, can't be bothered to find a stream, will just listen to the rest of it.
