Movie 2000 is better, but the original is the original.

The Digimon movie is a genuinely great film though. Digimon was better anyway.

Well FUCK THOSE colleagues then, they're probably morons who haven't had to deal with anything like this. Even if they do make a couple of snidey remarks, so what? You get worse here on BL all the time :D

You are a worrier, though, so you're obviously going to be scared, but believe me the small steps you make here will set you up better for a less scary future.

Just try to imagine how you'd treat someone else with anxiety who's recently KICKED BENZOS (don'tpickupthatprescription). Probably pretty gently and sympathetically. Maybe you're nicer than most people but you would show them a bit of tolerance and sympathy at the very least. You're not in the army you know. :)

I want that prescription!!!!!!! but I also want to burn it in hell.

People at work dont know that I've kicked benzos, they just think I should be able to deal with anxiety and stuff with my medication, maybe I should be going back on it if it is contributing to me having two weeks off work? :\

It's more important that you put this in that context to your doctor - ie that you have come off benzos and are finding everything anxiety-inducing. Work don't need to know everything, your health is mainly a private matter and you just have to provide the right paperwork in the form of a doctor's note to smooth this incident over. You could have just spent a week off lying on your front with some unusual household item lodged up your arse... it's none of their business. Just get the boxes ticked, it really is the first step towards making your situation better. How many times have you been scared of something, done it, then thought 'hmm actually that wasn't so bad after all?' It'll be like that. Unless your co-workers have been replaced with bat-winged goat-headed monsters, which I doubt they have.

I think you know that the best course of action is not to pick up the diaz and not to skip either the appointment or work on Monday. There's a big (and quite cunning) part of you which is trying to get you to take a different course of action because it's scared. You can be braver than that.

MUGZ WANTS DIAZ, but also hates benzos and doesn't want it, it's so tempting to get it when I can pick it up for free and have some diaz today, but I'm gonna control myself and not get it.

MUGZ can be stronger. Good luck with it buddy, I'm going to get the hell offline and do some work, but remember what I said > Having a work - doctor - work sandwich on Monday is absolutely the best thing you can do and will dramatically reduce the need to worry about your work situation.

^ Absolutely agree :)

I've cycled through not turning up at work because I can't handle it and not making it to the dr either and getting into trouble and it being harder to sort out so many times over the past year or so.. I know how easy it is to just hide your head in the sane (duvet in my case) and ignore it, but it really does just make things massively worse. Bite the bullet, and once it's done you will feel SO much better :) and yeah it can be awkward going back after time off, but as jancrow said ignore anyone who makes snide remarks, remember the majority of people are more concerned with their own lives than yours, and even if they briefly wonder about you it will all be forgotten in a few days. You're already onto a winner as you have the wise people of EADD to chat to and our support behind you :D

The diaz won't be for emergencies if you pick it up, you know that. If you're not handling your anxiety off benzos then speak to your dr about it; otherwise you're just setting things back by taking some diaz again then having to stop again all without your GPs support if you don't chat to them about it <3 Have they mentioned CBT or any other sort of therapy? It sounds like you need something to help this tricky phase; kicking benzos is really hard and you should be very proud but it sounds like you need a little bit of support right now, which is entirely understandable and reasonable..

Don't pick up the prescription <3

mine will be yellows, reported for sourcing ;)

No, 'yours' won't exist. I'm still watching you. Like SUSdog.

BTW- Effie, would it be possible to dip into yesterday's deleted uberbeef / car crash thread and whip out Watson's beautiful SUSdog for us, please? It deserves to be preserved for posterity and Google cachebending is not letting me see it, frustratingly. This is a matter of my right to religious expression and deserves to be taken seriously. <3

I was offered CBT but the forms were so long that I backed out. I might try and drop into the local Addaction this afternoon and see if they can see me

I have to pick up the prescription though, I need the olanzapine and they will be in the same bag, i cant say, actually no I wont take the diazepam thank you very much. It has street value ;) and stim comedown value, going to a festival next month too so it will have value there too. (bending the rules slightly sorry)

I am needing help form more than just my doctor, I hardly ever speak to my MSN/AIM friends anymore which sucks as they always made me feel better, been speaking to one crazy girl the last few nights who showed me on cam her getting changed, it included nice boobage footage which I liked, then she told me how she would like to tie me up and have her way with me and not let me cum for two hours and then ravage her 8o%)
Shame that she is in NY. It did get me hard though(TMI)

Effs, if you are not working now, any chance of a chat on aim please, I could really use it right now.

Dude, you totally CAN. This 'being in the same bag' thing is nonsense. It's not like the bag is made of reinforced concrete and they'll have to dynamite the lid off to change the contents, all the while tutting and frowning at the inconvenience. They'll go 'Oh, really?' and you go 'yes, I don't actually need them' and they'll go 'oh, right' and take them out and forget about it.

You're just making excuses to justify it. I worry that if you pick that up, when you're a bit loosened up on what you have planned for the weekend (which I also think is a very bad idea) you'll gub them.

On another note, this made me laugh just now. Hot girl interviews Danny Dyer on LSD:

^^ I'll hop on now Mugz and I'll dig out the sus-dog too Jancrow :)

PTCH stop your attempts to score off Mugzy please :D

Mugzy: you know how strong self-justification is. How many times did you justify ordering or redosing a stim, how many times did that go well/to plan, and how many times have you looked back and thought jesus I can't believe I fell for that reasoning? You won't keep em for emergencies, you won't give them to someone else, it will just set you back..

Perhaps explain to the GP about the reason you didn't take up the CBT?
