^ Absolutely agree
I've cycled through not turning up at work because I can't handle it and not making it to the dr either and getting into trouble and it being harder to sort out so many times over the past year or so.. I know how easy it is to just hide your head in the sane (duvet in my case) and ignore it, but it really does just make things massively worse. Bite the bullet, and once it's done you will feel SO much better

and yeah it can be awkward going back after time off, but as jancrow said ignore anyone who makes snide remarks, remember the majority of people are more concerned with their own lives than yours, and even if they briefly wonder about you it will all be forgotten in a few days. You're already onto a winner as you have the wise people of EADD to chat to and our support behind you :D
The diaz won't be for emergencies if you pick it up, you know that. If you're not handling your anxiety off benzos then speak to your dr about it; otherwise you're just setting things back by taking some diaz again then having to stop again all without your GPs support if you don't chat to them about it

Have they mentioned CBT or any other sort of therapy? It sounds like you need something to help this tricky phase; kicking benzos is really hard and you should be very proud but it sounds like you need a little bit of support right now, which is entirely understandable and reasonable..
Don't pick up the prescription
