I have had troubles quitting weed.
It usually affects me for around a month.
I get flu-like symptoms, with headaches, nausea, and general body pain. These symptoms last from 3-15 days.
I have weird dreams, about weed. Always about weed. These go on for longer, maybe a month.
I have low motivation for a month or so.
After about a month, I feel regular again.
However, the most recent times I have quit, I have woken up early and exercised and meditated. This helped me greatly. The overall symptoms stopped sooner, and after a month I felt FUCKING GOOD from all the exercise and meditation.
I also highly recommend eating healthy food. Try for at least 5 veggies a day, plus as many fruits as possible. Since chocolate brings euphoria, I recommend eating some chocolate during the first 2 weeks, if you can. Drink a beer before sleep to help with the insomnia, but watch out for addiction to that - since you, like me, have an addictive personality. Alternatively (and maybe better), take some 5-HTP before bed, which converts to melatonin in the brain, and will help with serotonin levels.
Above all, be strong! You will emerge stronger than before.
