^----this. Plasticity hit the nail on the head. Sub withdrawal, i would say, is 90% mental strength. At least it was for me. Ive gone through multiple binges, usually anywhere from 2-5 months at a time, to try and keep off true opiates. Usually i was dosing anywhere from 2-4mgs a day. And i gotta say, almost every time, i dealt with minimal physical withdrawal symptoms, and i always quit cold turkey. This isnt to say that i didnt have any negative physical effects, i did have lower back pain, some aches, and hot/cold, but this was only for a few days/ a week, and were very miniscule in terms of intensity, especially compared to full agonist opiate withdrawal. But as stated already, the worst part is the lingering PAWS and mental withdrawal. The depression just seems to last forever, as does the restless legs. I wish you luck! If you have a strong mind you can do it!
